What's the Difference between 2008 and 2011?
CardinalScotts replied to Sniper's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's Gailey and Fitz plus others but those are the big two (1) -
When did you feel the best yesterday?
CardinalScotts replied to cmjoyce113's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
they are related, when the patriots got flagged at the end of the game- AUTOMATIC first down ! And I knew we could run the clock out kick the chippy and we are going to win this game. Bellichik trying to do anything to stop it and then realizing it was checkmate. -
The Channel is called NFL Network- I never go to ESPN for- I was going to say football but when I stopped to think I never go there for anything anymore

Is there anything more gratifying
CardinalScotts replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I listened to a bit of a New England pre-game then New England post game call in show. They had no respect for what the Bills had done in the two previous game in their words "the chiefs stink and the Raiders are well the Raiders" and "the Bills are not in the class of the New England Patriots"..that was pregame. Postgame was more about the interceptions and crying about the officials- which was so weird to hear, the game was poorly officiated but totally slanted in Patriots favor. The Bills of course given no credit but we do the same thing- about giving them everything the get etc. In closing they are just like everyone else when your team loses, cry about the refs, and a couple guys thought it was time for coach Bill to move on. -
YES !! EXACTLY !!!....why do the officials push the patriots away rather than flag then, yet they never push any bills players away they just flag them. The officials stunk again and it was still slanted towards New England. Patriots held all day, ALL DAY. Ole Johnnie Grier's crew that we had last week -what a beautiful holding call on the bears punt return. ESPN - with the over head shot ...you find something the resembles holding because we couldn't. Officials are brutal it is ruining the league. As a high school baseball official I understand a lot of what takes place and blaming an official etc....but you can not ignore watching the NFL these officials are determining outcomes. No I didn't bet on any games

ha yes- Merriman got a great push all game, got held all game. He'll be fine Funny they move the ball up and down the field on EVERYONE- but our D stinks. wow blinders

Murphs Game Calls on 97 Rock Audio Vault
CardinalScotts replied to TSNBDSC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
they will show up on NFL.com ...under the team tab will be the radio calls with video. Later tonight- right now it is Marv and Gannon who for some reason stunk today. They we're good in the chiefs game. Usually Gannon is pretty solid and Marv is always good. I think they expected a NE win and got caught watching and in disbelief - couldn't say what was happening -
When Fitz bobbled the kneel-down
CardinalScotts replied to DaveinElma's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought once he kneels it's play over he doesn't have to stay there and take a shot from the opponent. Weird ending- bs refs - despite all of that garbage 3-0 !!! Gotta get the Bengals -
do not care, does not matter, don't respect his opinion - 3-0 baby anyway you slice it

Do you really need the "Due" ? Let's just be quiet all year and see you in the playoffs Patriots- if you get there -
Patriots' will have excuses a plenty for losing

Couldn't care less...do we need to sing about the Bills in week 3?....i prefer shhhh -
Who steps up as the 4th Receiver in the spread?
CardinalScotts replied to CSBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brad Smith is a bigger target in the slot, but not the greatest hands you'll see. Like Nelson on one side and Smith on the other Johnson and Nelson to the outside. A tight end who can contribute also Spiller and Jackson in the passing game. -
ike many of you I am satisfied with this team’s direction and growth over the last 18 games under the Gailey/Nix regime, but I wouldn’t characterize my state as euphoric, intoxicated, or oblivious like too many of you including Sullivan. A cold dose of reality will sweep over the emotional fan base with the arrival of Brady and company on Sunday; my estimate is around 2:15 PM EST, almost like the Aztecan calendar. Still too many holes and too little time removed from the Marv Levy/Tom Modrak administration. Concerns that I have: • A woeful pass rush; was Modrak very influential in last year’s draft class as limited gems have materialized from that pool of selections as well, especially Troupe and Carrington;- both opponents so far like to dump the ball off a lot and the defense was waiting for it, McFadden is so fast sometimes it didn't matter but they would have screen more if we would have rushed the passer. The offenses we played against the worst thing your could do is pin the ears back and come after them. • Staying with the pass rush, I believe it is confirmed, Merriman certainly has lost multiple steps, not just the proverbial “step!” I like the emotion, brute strength, and determination, but his explosiveness is clearly lacking, just maybe it can be blamed on game conditioning, which truly has no similarities with a martial arts studio/training regime. like above- he hasn't been asked to pass rush, stand tackle up set the edge so far • Even I was fooled with the depth of this secondary as there is none. Frankly, I would bench McKelvin and start Aaron Williams, it can’t be any worse. Also, for the life of me, I can’t understand how management didn’t make a play for Brandon Meriweather, he certainly has experience with both the Patriots and Jets and would the drop off from George Wilson really be that far? first and foremost the patriots cut guys when they can't play anymore (find me an exception) McKelvin you keep playing and hope he improves • The Andre Davis signing is, well, just that a signing; Sheppard has made enough plays on special teams to deserve a chance to displace this free agent bust. I love the kid’s intensity; Davis comes out of games atleast the coaches see that, if it's an interior running team he can be a plus • We don’t have enough speed at the wide out position; we really need some explosiveness at that position, including the tight end, and no I am not lamenting on the Lee Evans trade, which I totally supported and was unquestionably the correct move; lastly The Raiders played way off our wideouts, 9-10 yard patterns were there for the taking and they did the entire second half. Donald Jones can fly, with Roosevelt being added he can get deep as well. • For everything great about Fitzpatrick, he is still inaccurate and his arm lacks zip. Let’s face it, competent secondary play by the Raiders yesterday would have resulted in two or three picks and fans headed to the exits early in the forth. EVERY single QB makes terrible throws, balls that could be intercepted and weren't it's part of the deal for the QB's that put up points I am hoping for Titans/Ravens type shocker on Sunday, but I just don’t see it. Hopefully it is tight and not the classic NE vs. Bills blowout that we have all become accustom to. More importantly we need to beat the bengals the week after and get to 3-1 in the first quarter of the season. No one has slowed the patriots down too much so far including a Chargers team some are picking for the super bowl

how do our DB compete against Brady?
CardinalScotts replied to SlamnSam's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
just called New England for holding when they are holding - doesn't seem that hard -
How do we slow down New England?
CardinalScotts replied to beagle925's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
you have to try and do that every week slow the game down...limit their posessions....run the clock- run the ball pressure Brady and hope they call holding THAT week -
Worst officiating crew in the league
CardinalScotts replied to JPicc2114's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me too, they are just terrible- after the 20 penalty night on Monday for the Raiders these guy were going to "not" throw and or pick up as many flags as they could. They are the worst as soon as I saw who we had i mentioned to those watching - watch this crew today they should be kicked out of the NFL. This is the group who did the preseason Detroit game with the eyeball it spots of the football -

Official BILLS vs RAIDERS GAMEDAY THREAD
CardinalScotts replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That IS the worst crew in the NFL - not just today and not just Bills games. They did the mystery spot in the Lions game Johnnie was so p.o. he had to go to over time. Just a joke one guy makes a call and they all conference trying to talk him out of it. It's almost like they got together and said "did you watch the raiders Monday night ? We aren't doing that try not to throw the flags- slows the game down etc"
