The Carson Palmer Debacle Begins
CardinalScotts replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
guys not gonna roll of the couch and look very good...no one is. The lack of arm strength was alarming -
Jets arent very good a Jacksonville win, a Miami win, a dallas thank your romo and Chargers on the road where Rivers sucks. He always has but the division has been ridonkulous for 6 years. You can go 6-2 at home beat the chiefs or broncos or raiders on the road or all three and your there. TO answer your question the Jets are not very good

All Time Underappreciated Bills
CardinalScotts replied to st. pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Moulds was a great player with the worst group of QB's to play with your could dream up Kelly-Collins-Flutie-Johnson-Van Pelt-Bledsoe-Holcomb-Losman - 8 different quarterbacks in 10 years now go build some chemistry. He has some issues off the field but was a hell of a player. all time 764 and 9995 yards -
All Time Underappreciated Bills

sorry the dude wasn't nice to you...but he was a good lineman who played with 17 other offensive lineman during he time with the Bills. Being an jerk doesn't make him better or worse, he was a good player they never helped - that's all I'm saying wright was a descent pass rusher but he couldn't stop the run, very light pushed around the field. -
George Edwards' Job Security (Chris Brown)

my only complaint so far is the Bengals with a rookie qb we didnt even try to blitz him- very odd. -
Idea: C.J. Spiller to Detroit for 2nd Rounder?
CardinalScotts replied to ShipUPride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
in my best Nancy Kerrigan "WHY !" Why do you need Spiller to be all pro right now, Freds doing pretty well and there is only one football -
The last 25 years from 1987- through this years after the first 6 games. 6 losing records total 6 @ 5/1 6 @ 4/2 7 @ 3/3 3 @ 2/4 2 @ 1/5 1 2 0/6 I know it doesn't mean anything but was interesting to look back forgot the double bye year of 1993. Last 25 seasons 11 winning seasons 11 losing seasons 2- right at .500 .....how will this year finish ?

All Time Underappreciated Bills

QB- Doug Flutie -even with all the hype he covered for a line that wasnt very good RB- Greg Bell -good back who could catch and run and brought us Bennett - thank you Greg RB- Robb Riddick -pretty descent all around back, bounced back from a broken leg in year two WR- Chris Burkett -was a pretty descent performer WR- Bob Chandler -despite never having a partner to work with pretty good reciever TE- Ruben Gant -I'd take him today OT- Joe Devlin -I always thought one of the best we ever had OT- John Fina -we should have built around him instead we left him by himself OG- John Davis -the o-line was never as good as when he was in there OG- Tim Vogler -really solid O-lineman OC- Will Grant -undersized for even back then ------------------------------------------------------- DE- Sean McNanie -not a great player but he could start on this team NT- Mike Kadish -one of few solid players at the time DE- Art Still -we got him too late but was still a good player LB- Lucious Sanford -active linebacker solid player LB- Eugene Marve -this poor guy was one hell of a player on some bad teams LB- Scott Radecic -another blue collar guy I would take today LB- Sam Rogers -always knew his assignments solid player CB- Derrick Burroughs -career cut short right at the time he was coming on CB- Antoine Winfield -have been trying to find his replacement still SS- Jeff Nixon -knew where to be never a hard hitter but smart FS- Rod Kush -punishing tackler P- John Kidd - good punter on some lousy teams PK- Rian Lindell - he's been a great kicker even though his team hasn't been very good -
Kyle Williams will miss the Redskins Game
CardinalScotts replied to 5 Wide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
among the dumbest things I've read on here. Ya the defensive tackle position is a lot like holder for field goals- no physical contact, hide from getting hit. -
In 2005 Carson Palmer was one hell of a quarterback- since then he's a middle of the road guy. Raiders over paid, if the Bengals knew how to draft they could be dangerous but odds are they will screw it up. Palmer has had surgeries on his knee and thumb as well as a bad elbow. How long till he learns the playbook, how long til he's in playing shape, what about the arm you just don't roll of the couch arm ready to go. Gutsy move but the Raiders don't have a pick next year til 5th round, and not much in 2013 either.

Is there any doubt we need a FRANCHISE QB ?

Lets look at the postives of today
CardinalScotts replied to aussiebills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again split into quarters first 3-1 over and done can't change it second 1-1 Redskins after the bye then Jets need 2-2 minimum 3-1 possible 6-2 or even 5-3 half way home is okay by me -

exactly my god do you watch other games ? Rogers hit two Rams right in the numbers and they dropped it. Fitz had two bad tosses combined with a bad and injured D-line and some tough calls we came up short on the road. 3-1 in first quarter 1-1 so far in the second we are fine. -
Bills QB of the Future

and a guy to call plays that knows what he is doing -
Slow down guys - lets just get the next one and regroup over the bye.

The Bills' method of winning is unsustainable.
CardinalScotts replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Good teams get the bounces...bad teams don't - in other words you make your own breaks. For the interceptions they are right there for the deflections -

CardinalScotts replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is year two of a three year build...just a bit ahead of schedule. They don't have to have a good defense right now your don't win the super bowl in September or October just build the best defense you can by late December. Stats are for losers - this league is about two things WINS and LOSSES it's a fairly easy concept PERIOD. -
they are fox guys knew nothing about the bills- which is fine. The part that bothers me is - for example if Fred took a run around the corner it was the Eagles who didn't turn the play back in but if McCoy took it around the corner "It was an outstanding run" - that's gets to the point where you just kinda not listen to Coach B. I also agree he's pissed the bills wouldnt even interview him for the vacancy
