Do the bills have the best O-line in the NFL?
CardinalScotts replied to buffalover4life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we certainly have some pieces, when everyone is healthy it's a good line. Hairston has potential - the weak line besides Bell never being healthy is Rinehart he is the "Which one of these guys is not like the other". Now get some wide recievers - a seventh rounder and the rest are undrafted....come on. -
So, Bills won't buy remaining seats at 66% off

why cant we understand this is year two of a three year build, respect that and support the team. Ehhhh it's cutting into my cigarette money -
Former Chief center Tim Grunhard once said "When he wanted to dominate there wasn't anything you could do to stop it. Fortunately that was only two plays per game."

but his second is looking good !...i really mean it's looking good. Troup had a bad back- anyone had a bad back it's debilatating Marcell Dareus - despite playing along no other NFL caliber players since Kyle Williams injury, Dareus has done a good job and is constantly double teamed even in the Jet game. Aaron Williams - this guy looks like a stud of a player Kelvin Sheppard - good tackler, good speed trouble with assignments but still looks like he's going to be a good player Da'Norris Searcy - another hitter who will learn pass coverage, another player and likely starter next year Chris Hairston - already started some games has been hot and cold, has some tools and is not a project. Could develop into a solid lineman Chris White - special teams contributor who knows from there Justin Rogers - limited time but looks like he can be in the mix (and i don't mean like Reggie Corner) that's not a bad draft....anytime you take a DT he's not going to put up stats like a DE or blitzing LB especially if he has another pass rusher to work with...we all want these guys to play like a five year NFL veteran but unless your not realistic it's not going to happen. Over all a good draft so far

Please Admit This Season Was Disappointing
CardinalScotts replied to MacAddict104's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
exactly year two of a three year build, some pieces sliding into place. More to go but it's not like we are just terrible. Why can't we simply understand it's lack of depth- I don't understand why that is so hard to understand. -
Why is Lindell not on IR?
CardinalScotts replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
asking a guy who hasnt played all year to "hard" squib a kick down the field and don't hit anyone to cover up for our bone head receiver. Ya it's your fault you can't cover for him booooo kicker boooo -
What Changes Would You Make in 2012?
CardinalScotts replied to MacAddict104's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes - someone who wants to win. Clean out guys like Russ Brandon. Although I think we are headed in the right direction the thoughts of will the owner spend like others to get this team where it should be? The big no has been the answer. We do not sign NFL caliber players to give the team depth. Wideouts get hurt and instead of going and getting a wide receiver we move a running QB and running back to wide receiver - and tell Chan make it work. Have no depth at LB, defensive line, wide receiver that could have been fixed by going out and spending some money to bring guys in prior to the season starting. In the end until Ralph dies we are stuck right here with the team making 40 plus million dollars and Ralph crying. also Fred is already signed he's under contract for next year. -
Can you explain why the Canadian Olympic team selects Ruff as one of their coaches ? -just wondered

Chan Gailey's Future
CardinalScotts replied to BillsNeedaQBin2012's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
we are pathetic- you have a descent to good quarterback who has lost his entire wide reciever group which was thin to start with. Now you don't have your running back and three of the starting five line man. Chan you stink ? really hard to respect any of the other opinions. Now should we discuss the defense because it's the same on that side of the ball. If we win tomorrow it WILL be because of Chan- however if we lose it WON'T be becuase of Chan. If he can devise a game plan good enough to beat an NFL team without NFL players he gets credit for it- but if he can't you can not blame him for it. -
I so STRONGLY disagree with this comment. He's a good player along side 7 other good players as the Lions rotate all the D-lineman all game. Gunther Cunningham's scheme is pressure- typical weakside blitz, bring more than you can block. They have Avril, VanDen Bosch, Lawrence Jackson all good pass rushers with Durrant and Tulloch. Suh does not dominate, does not take over- does not make plays. NGata, Kyle Williams, Wilfolk are all better off the top of my head.

this is a great question. I love Fred Jackson but the over thirty part is of great concern. If after the final 6 games CJ proves he can't do it then you HAVE to go sign Fred. If he proves he can then I would like to see us let Fred go and get a veteran WR, come to think of it just sign the WR no matter what happens.

A Interesting Question For Bills Fans ???
CardinalScotts replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To me the biggest problem was switching coordinators EVERY year or once in the middle of the season. Never given much of a chance to succeed. O-line was a mess as well -
Lets get to t6-5...then 7-5...then 8-5 - at that point the season looks a lot different

Why I think we will beat the Jets..
CardinalScotts replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's called three tight games at the end and why look at a blow out. I watched too they were switching back an forth between the close games. -
its funny we say it 100 different ways, we have no depth and the injuries are what has stopped the car. Mangini said the same thing on Mike and Mike Monday morning. I think most of us understand that...it's not Chan, it's not Fitzpatrick. Look around the league Tampa was 10-6 last year have had major injury issues on the D-line and they are having a bad season. Or the Chiefs last year 10-6 this year injuries with no depth. Jets 11-5 last year now they are 5-5. Green Bay was sitting at 7-4 last year after 11 games, you never know.
