If you put Kelsay on the 49ers defense he would be fine, not great but a capable guy with good players around him. Whitner is the same way, not a difference maker but if you have good guys around him you don't look to him for big plays and then he's alright.

you cannot buy your way to good..it's year two of a rebuild really good points, except for getting beat by teams aren't very good ? Who is good and who is bad in the NFL this year ? Fitzpatrick is the QB and he's a good quarterback- focus on other things. On offense Lack of a wide out even when everyone is healthy. Never mind we are playing guys off the street and somehow think that shouldn't matter. Now on defense our front seven when Williams gets back we go Williams-Derius-Barnett-Sheppard and no one else. Williams looks like he's going to be a good corner, Rogers also looks good. Searcy has to take over for George Wilson, along with Byrd. Now find a pass rusher or two and sign some depth.

who are the weapons on offense ? An injured Stevie Johnson and that's it ? Missing offensive linemen, our best player, no tight end, 2-3 wide receivers, why do you think you can pulls guys off the coach and you'll be fine ? We are playing back ups, back ups - Chan didn't "get stupid" in the last 7 games we have the few player makers we did have are injured. Who are you going to go deep with ? because each piece is a domino and they affect each other. The front seven is not very good or healthy, it's like having a great number three hitter but no one is ever on base for him and no one behind him so he gets pitched around. Not with the injuries they have had on an already thin roster. Sucks but we're gonna have to ride it out are we blind ? We just ignore not just the amount of injuries but to who has to play because of it ? quit going back 10-12 years this is year two period !!!

what the league has figured out is Buffalo has NO wide outs....nothing to do with the qb

cant be elite without wide recievers...not a running back playing wide out, not a running quarterback playing WR etc. Until you surround him with NFL wide outs I cant say - not can anyone else by the way

he's just pretty honest and we look deep for reasons we lost and he just tells you up front. His comment on Allen Wilson shows you the character of this guy most coaches wouldn't have even mentioned it. He's the right coach just give him time

Packers were what 6-10 three years ago...take time to build this is year two for gailey and nix. Easy schedule helps too

give it next year and the year after, takes time to build depth. We've been very hurt and very thin on the roster - give me all the starters back and were are right in the playoff picture. You cant play with one NFL wide receiver and one NFL defensive line man as examples and pretend we should be fine. Your outside LB's are Spencer Johnson and Kelsay.
