  1. its been the drafting- they draft very very well, they rarely spend in free agency because they don't have to make up for poor drafts. In addition they play hard nosed defensive football, easier to find defensive players than offensive
  2. someone mentioned this a while back, oh ya it was me. He agrees John Czarnekci- to me, Brees is a product of the Saints’ remarkable offensive system, one designed by Payton to utilize his quick-strike strengths, his ability to roll out and his mind to remember every detail of the offense. Yes, he shattered Dan Marino’s single-season passing record with 5,476 yards in 2011, but I can’t honestly say that Brees is a better quarterback than Marino, whose physical skills and quick release put him on a different level. Brees could beat Marino in a foot race, but that’s about it.
  3. good point, I'd rather we do this then get the London game or Berlin or Mexico City or who knows. I hate it but as the NFL grows let the other teams travel across the world we'll just hop up to Toronto once a year- win the game and move on. They should let the Bills pick the opponent however (not sure who makes the selection now)
  4. Great question - is winning the super bowl the only measuring stick ? For some yes for some no, like the old question winning a super bowl does not make you a great QB. If Brady never made it back after SB one he legacy would be throwing for 149 yards in the biggest game of his life. Yes they won but sorta like Big Ben's first ehhh he was on the winning team but he didn't win the super bowl. The consistency to me is greater, but you do have to get there- if your guy makes a kick your awesome and if your guy misses you stink ? Not if you have a brain in your head. Give me the 10-11 win seasons it's the ride that's enjoyable, bad season is a once in a while 6-7 wins
  5. every year some playoff teams change every single year
  6. If I were coaching and expected to make a playoff run, I would want the veteran punter as things get tight
  7. is he offensive line, wide outs, Sprouls and Graham coming with ? if they are yes in they are not nope.
  8. your nuts Moorman has been terrific inside the 10, and he's good in bad weather. He'll be back again
  9. a one year deal because he's taking over
  10. I still think some guys have the authority just no plan
  11. this shows a complete lack of knowledge of the game or any understanding how it's played
  12. Brady yes Sanchez no Tanneyhill no Weeden no Flacco no Big Ben yes Dalton no Schaub are we playing fantasy or real NFL fantasy I would trade him - real NFL no Luck no Hasselback god no Gabbert no Manning yes Rivers no Cassell no
  13. McGee on the way out just to tough to stay healthy. Florence is a pressure, physical corner not a cover guy give him a pass rush he's a different player he was hung out to dry last year with no pass rush
  14. with good players around him he will have his best year in 2012
  15. yes where are the asleep at the switch and country bumbkin etc talk...where are you guys. Followed by the he hasn't won anything yet. Bottom line the guy knows what he's doing you can't find any one with NFL knowledge who says the opposite.
  16. if your starting qb gets injured like almost every other team your not going to win much...as for Pittsburgh - big difference when you can win games with 20-17-14-13-13-10 points
  17. He was very very good for about a six year stretch. Not a Hall-of-Fame guy, I also dont think Aikman is either, but there is a list of guy I ask wth. Start with Cortez Kennedy
  18. Sorta weird I didnt like Gabbert at all wouldnt have taken him before the fifth - but because Jacksonville played him without leaving him in there to get beat up along with a descent run game it would not suprise me if he made a huge leap forward by the end of next season
  19. he's a keep everything in front and tackle guy
  20. actually Sapp cracks me up, he's one of the few I like
