Lay out a plan to the public with a time attached for THIS General Manager and THIS head coach to put together a playoff team. It has nothing to do with the whiners and the twelve years of whatever it's irrelevant. What's the plan in the next two years. We want a franchise quarterback BUT we HAVE to make the playoffs too.....can't have both. Fitz in my opinion is fine of course if you give up 52 points probably not going to win with any quarterback although some on here will claim some "franchise" quarterback could average 60 a game. Get a couple legit starting wide receivers

I know no one would cares but I'm about done on this board. It's has gone from intelligent, and humorous comments about our favorite football team TO what it is now a bunch or off the cuff baseless comments about a team that is 2-2. Who had us at 4-0 at this point ? I'm guessing 3-1 was the hope and most knew that would be tough to get. We might come home at 2-3 but the season isn't dead I'm not sure what it is too much WGR maybe. Defense takes a while to jell - sorry but it does - they won't be great til November I do think they will be really really good in the second half of the season. New corners, New D-linemen, New formation, new coordinator, new schemes this isn't a computer game. I'm not into moral victories losing a close one 33-30 in OT is no different than getting smoked 56-0 there is column for close losses

Good points I agree with about everyone of them....like ive been saying what is the best record everyone thought we would have after the first four games ? 3-1 at best likely 2-2 and that is where we are....NOW we have to pull a 3-1

you can win with a qb rating of 86.5 if your defense is top 3 which NE had in 2001 for their first superbowl

Last three games Fitz has put up some good numbers but when you give up 52 and 49 points wouldn't you feel a little pressure to force things knowing on offense we NEED to score ? He has 10 interceptions - when your down 25 with 6 minutes to go an interception doesn't impact the game, like we want to pretend it does. 350 and 4 tds defense gave up 52 307 and 2 tds defenes gave up 49 369 and 2 tds defense gave up 31 if you want to ignore the defense and blame it on turnovers your kidding yourself, what would Parcells do- win on defense as always what would Bellichik do- try to out score you like Chan has to, of course Gronkowski and Hernandez are impossible matchups and their defense isnt great so I think we would all try to outscore opponent.

we arent winning the division we are getting a wild card chiefs currently have the #1 ranked offense - stats lie we get caught up in fantasy numbers. Our version of who is a top QB is based on Fantasy crap

who cares what he makes we are so far under the cap......Ive been disappointed, but it's early in the season Ive always felt this D would not come together until November. I heard Matt Light on the radio talking about Buffalo went light with Barnett and Scott and New England just brought a power running game into the game and Buffalo never adjusted. Barnett is light and slow he can not take on blockers OR run anything down from the back side and it killed us. Scott is a safety playing LB you can use him in spots but every down just yells out to the Patriots WE HAVE A SAFETY PLAYING LINEBACKER they won't miss that. Lastly George Wilson at safety is brutal, this defense will never be a top defense with Wilson at safety he a liability in coverage and brings no crunch to his tackles, he hits like a punter. .

Heard former Patriot tackle Matt Light on the radio...kinda sounded like a rock head but his observations were kind of interesting. Well Buffalo went small, NE other tight end is basically another tackle so they ran the ball and Buffalo never adjusted. Cant get down like that though good team they were playing a team like Buffalo, next week they have Denver they won't let you back in the game.
