why does everybody have to be a top rd pick to play well, I dont get where that comes from, esp with lineman. There's no reason to think this kid won't make it to the roster or even play this year.

its not like bell is some unheard of prospect, he just wasnt on the radar of the board. Wang has a lot of good qualities that you want in a LT, just cause we hadnt paid attention to him doesnt mean hes as raw as peters or bell.

I think what many of us fail to remember is that Edwards not only lost the job last year, but he also lost the locker room, according to reports, that's not something that he can just get back at the drop of a hat. Maybe a new system will help trent, but if the team doesnt rally around the QB it's a recipe for disaster, just based on that fact alone, I doubt edwards will win this job.

Opinions were high at the combine PRIOR to discovering his past, he had 1 team at his proday workout. If somebody gives him a shot and defies the sheriff then good, he deserves a shot, but based on the rep of ole' iron fist goodell, I wouldn't hold my breath. I suspect Mr. Washington is as close to he's ever gonna get at being an NFL player.

He shall not be drafted or signed post-draft by any team without serious penalty" thats the gist of it, sorry no link though it's supposed to be "confidential" so you wont find it online
