  1. I watch it, i find it amusing and enjoy watching those douchebags fail at every turn. This past weeks was a bit too much, those japs turned right into that little boat. Generally I don't like the Sea Shepards, but in this case the Japs were wrong.
  2. My guess is that his position/grade and DUI combined did it he was touted as a RT only, so that drops him into the 3rd almost automatically, but he wasnt the top rated RT, more like 3-5th rated pure RT, so again that drops him to around the 5th, then comes the DUI, and my guess is that was the nail in the coffin that solidified him into a 7th rd pick. The kid is talented thats for sure, hopefully he can contribute this yr, bif not I am confident he'll get in the lineup next yr, either way, He looks like a great late rd pick up for Us.
  3. 11-5/10-6: contingent on Brohm starting, if it's edwards then 3-13/5-11
  4. well GB just lost Jolly for the yr, so that game just got alot more winnable
  5. so how do you get it for 179, all i saw was 319 or so
  6. yup, same here, i just dont think trent has it, so I'm pullin for Brohm.
  7. ok, so im not gonna read thru 16 pages, but can someone please summarize and tell me if there is a discount or something like i've read about. Just got a job, so i'm thinking i'll order the ticket this year. Any help would be much appreciated. thanks.
  8. wow, lots of recognizable names on that roster. Maybe they can add trent in a few months?
  9. Brian Brohm will win the QB job solidify his status as the starting QB of the Bills with a breakout season.
  10. obviously, all this chatter on a MB means zero My response was to the comment about making sure he has a brain attached to that arm or whatever, which, according to what I've found, he does, also, the misconception of a "cannon arm" that brohm does not have, he has a strong arm, a live arm, NOT A CANNON IN THE MOLD OF JEFF GEORGE, KYLE BOLLER, OR ELWAY FOR EXAMPLE.
  11. calloway meredith/bell-- levitre-- wood-- calloway-- green/meredith/wang
  12. axel, check trent college stats, his passing YPA hovered b/t 5.8-7, just like in the pros, he's a small ball QB, always has been.
  13. that shouldnt be a problem, according to his scouting reports he is is very smart player, heady was the the word i think, and should have no problem picking up the system
  14. trent ellis mccargo ellison klopfenstein chad simpson ashton youbuty and LOL and you guys thinkin Maybins gonna get cut, talk about impatient, sheesh
  15. He's better physically and mentally then edwards, and apparently this system is very similar to the one he ran at louisville, where he was awesome in 4 yrs, and was a legit heisman contender. admittedly, he failed in GB, didn't handle it all well, however, if he follows thru with what he's been sayin this offseason, this guy can be the guy for a long time. his ceiling is much higher than trents IMO, and as he showed in college, he has Never been afraid to throw downfield. add it all up and what I get is a guy that is capable of winning the starters job and giving the bills a quality QB to build around, which is something that trent is not.
  16. I think trent will look amazing......as he hold the clipboard and calls in the plays to Brian Brohm, who is leading the Bills to yet another victory.
  17. Present: on the right track... Future: Championships!!!!
  18. RICKY STANZI is the guy we should be lookin into
  19. just a dig at Clempsun, thats all, and since I'm a carolina fan, It pains me to be rooting for him, but since he's a bill now i guess its ok.
  20. oh so the black Qb is more of a runner than a passer huh Some body call Jesse Jackson!!!!
  21. There seems to be a misconception that UCF is a small school, with over 44,000 undergrads I hardly consider that small, in comparison the University of florida, by comparison has roughly 49,000 undergrads. The point is that while UCF is a relatively new program and plays in a smaller conference, that doesn't diminish the talents of the players who play there. There are busts at all levels, some top prospects never even see the field in college (mitch mustain). Look up the pat kirwan article on NFL.com from a few months back about D-lineman in yrs 1 and 2, that should provide some insight for you. Myself, I think TT will come in and do exactly what he is supposed to do, which is eat up blockers, and make the occasional tackle or sack when it comes his way.
  22. I haven't argued that trent shouldnt be allowed to compete. What I have said is that trent won't win the competition. Simply put, I see no way that Brohm loses this battle, I see nothing in trent that screams "starting QB". again, IMHO, there is no way trent wins this job. He's a rob johnson, great in practice, awful in games.
  23. I'm not going to argue against competition, that is the way it should be. However, TE didnt come into buffalo as the automatic backup like BB did in GB, there was NO WAY he was going to unseat rodgers, so to compare BB to TE from a PT perspective isnt really fair. Now to your question, if trent outperforms the others would I want him to be named the starter, well, NO, I dont like his game at all, but if he wins the job, which is what outperforming equates to, then there's no choice. However, I very seriously doubt that will happen, brohm skills are superior to trent, and in a legit open competition, with a smart coach like gailey watching, BB wins this thing hands down. I think in many ways Trent was a reflection of Juaron, the type of game he liked, safe, no risk. trent doesnt lead his wr's, he hits them right on the #'s, why? safe, no risk of int, trent doesnt go downfield when he has a window, he prefers to check it down, why? safe, less risk. IMHO, trent, much like Jauron, is what has been wrong with this team as of late, football is a chess match, its a no guts no glory chess match, and Dick/trent never wanted to bring their queen out to play. There's no place for that in todays game.
  24. ok, lets hear it then, please explain what trent has shown in the last 3 yrs that makes you think he has a chance to be a viable starter in the NFL?
  25. I just don't see what trent has to offer as a starter, I cant think of one redeemable quality he posses as a QB that makes me think "Yes, thats the guy, no doubt about it"
