Antonio Cromartie is PATHETIC
CarolinaBill replied to John Cocktosten's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would never say he's being a good father, but he's at least doing something right by making the payments. -

I know that when i was a kid, i knew he wouldnt be there, but more than that, he wouldnt even pay the CS, so instead of decent school clothes, we got hand me downs and good will, and thats just one little example. Money is not everything, but it certainly helps, especially in a single parent home. Thats all im getting at. -

Alright guys, those of you who have had an absentee father that didnt pay child support, please tell me, would you have been better off if he AT THE VERY LEAST, fulfilled his role as provider. I know I would have. -
Kellen Clemens might be available

he's being responsible for at least making the payments, is he being irresponsible by not covering up, yes, but at least he's doing something. He obviously must know where the kids are (or his financial guy does), and we dont know if he is involved in their lives or not. My main reason for not hating on this guy like others have is that IMO, something is better than nothing. -

thats a discussion for a different day, all we know right now is that he's doing what he's supposed to now, and barring injury, should cash in a big FA deal or extension next yr that should set his families for life. -

Actually, because ive dealt with it is the reason I'm not overly upset in this case. See, coming from a situation where my dad never paid child support (in excess of $150,000) I can at least be happy that his kids are going to at least have a decent life without him, if he chooses not to be in their lives. While the presence of a father figure is vital to a childs upbringing, a strong family can be forged with one parent, I have seen it myself. So while I do not condone his carelessness, I applaud his taking responsibility for his actions, and I wish him no ill will, if only for his childrens sake. -

at least he's paying the child support, thats better than a lot of other kids that dont have that. Maybe once he's done playing he can be a better father to them, who knows, but for now, he's at least fulfilling on of his primary responsibilities--PROVIDER. so by saying you wish nothing but the worst for him, like serious injury, you really mean you hope his kids live in poverty, thats real nice. I'm not arguing against the fact that he may be a dim-bulb and needs to learn how to use a rubber, that much is evident, but it doesnt make him a giant scumbag for having a bunch of kids. -

OMG, what an outrage, a guy that likes to !@#$!!!!!! he should be stoned in the town square if anyone cared to notice, the piece also said he has all his affairs in orders, including the CS cases. Did he show some bad judgement and signs of irresponsibility, sure, but its not like he's Vick or worse. -
I saw him get washed in the 3-4 front with a RB running right by him, maybe I missed some of the plays you mentioned, but in the 3-4 front, I didnt see him do anything

Pot: Not just for losers any more
CarolinaBill replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Not really, No. i'm sure you already know and have your own opinions on the matter. Look, im all for reducing the criminal punishment for recreational users, serious jail time for low level nonviolent pot crimes is silly, and wasteful of taxpayers money and jail space, but that doesnt mean legalize it and all will be well. -
Either way, something just makes me think he won't want to play in buffalo, maybe he "elways" us, maybe he "eli's" us, but I dont think he will be a Bill.

Enderle is a big kid from Idaho Vandals, nice arm, decent mobility, smart kid, gamer, turned in his best season last yr with 22 tds 9 ints, including a 4 td bowl performance, and last second win vs. bowling green in the humanitarian bowl. If you go on youtube, search for him, if you find the humanitarian bowl highlights go to the 3 min mark and watch that rollout kick throw he makes, then watch the final drive. I like this kid alot coming into this season, he's been drawing comparisons to Jay Cutler, and I like that too. -
I'm not one of the "ralph is cheap blah blah blah" guys. If what you think happens, I still am not sold on Locker being a Buffalo Bill. First, I dont think he is the best QB in this draft. I think he is a very good prospect, but I am not sold on his ability to read defenses, or his accuracy. When I see Locker i see a young steve young, which is great if we're the 49ers, but we're not, we are in the bucs position, and thats not good. Personally, I think that Ponder my be better, and I'm very interested in keeping track of Nate Enderle from Idaho this Season. Enderle has drawn comparisons to Jay Cutler, which is fine by me. Second, Im not convinced we will go QB first next April, although we are in desperate need of a QB, we may elect to go LT, if one is available. I am not well versed on the LT prospects for this season yet, but what I do know is that there are more than 2 really good QBs in this draft, and we dont absolutely have to go QB in rd 1. Buddy Nix doesnt seem inclined to trade picks so far, so I doubt we will see a big trade for 2 #1's next april. IMO, we may be better served to go LT first and QB second. But we shall see how this college season turns out. I do not think money will affect who we pick, but I do think that Locker has leverage being already drafted in MLB.

hemp for rope, clothes etc is different from dope smokin hippie pot. If you want to legalize industrial hemp, go for it, its a great idea, but the rest of these hazed hippies just want to fire up their doobies without fear from the law. Its illegal, and there's a damn good reason for it. -
here's a few links for Enderle: Enderle stats per ESPN Enderle write-up He's being compared to Jay cutler from what i've seen, minus the diabetes. Also, check out his bowl game last yr against bowling green, big #'s, clutch throws. Should be interesting to see how he does this yr.

keeping in mind that game planning is virtually non existent during preseason game 1, and the fact that we scratched 11 starters, im not worried. With that said, in the skins game, our LB's looked horrendous, bad play all around, this is not something to take lightly, also, kyle w looked mismatched at the nose, another bad sign. I am concerned about those issues
