  1. Looking up and down our roster, picking the final 53 leaves quite a few guys out on the street. I looked today and went over it at least 4 times, some tough cuts are indeed coming. My longshot to make the team is John potter. I dont see fendi, eddins, troup, naaman, and several others making the cut. Hell, IMO brad smith shouldnt make the cut, if we want to run the wildcat just use VY.
  2. he looked like a rookie in his first preseason game
  3. "unfair competitive advantage" thats the key phrase. NE clearly gained it with their tactics. NO didn't. providing incentives for LEGAL, NON-INJURING hits does not provide an unfair advantage. The Saints, while exhibiting blatant unsponsmanlike behavior and brash defiance of authority, were not cheating. NO ASTERISK NEEDED
  4. this should not come as a surprise, morrison has been a very servicable stop gap player for a while now. At some point we had to figure that either moats, bradham or carder would be the starter. KM will be a valuable backup for us.
  5. Saints didnt cheat, no asterisk needed.
  6. How could our best player be working with the 3rd unit and look "lost"? Something is going on with Jasper clearly, he should be running the entire oline by himself by now, maybe he's nursing an injury.
  7. The report I read stated that he was stabbed trying to break up a fight, so its not completely on him, however, he probably shouldn't have even been there. Oh well
  8. Shoulda, coulda woulda, they moved UP to grab him, to try to negotiate from the position that he was "over drafted", which is BS btw, wouldn't make any sense. This whole Over drafted opinion is from the Experts, but not the FO, I'm sure Buddy Nix thinks he got him exactly where he thought he would. As others have pointed out, 3rd rd picks are, for some reason, becoming difficult to sign, but rest assured TJ will sign, he'll be in camp. There is no "message being sent" by signing some scrub off the street.
  9. Greenville, SC by way of Honeoye Falls, NY
  10. This Nowraki guy really needs to stop questioning the intelligence of players. Especially when he hasn't even met them. He did it last yr in his Rediculous analysis of Cam, and now he's doing it again with Glenn. The guy is an idiot, so I'm not really taking ANYTHING this clown says seriously
  11. Im happy with our draft so far, yeah we didnt take the guys I liked, but oh well, we pick up 3 very nice players so far, A+ IMO
  12. IMO, slipping out of the top 10-15 which is where he was projected prior to last yr, should be plenty of motivation, plus all the flack he took about his weight and that stupid picture. He's gonna have a chip on his shoulder
  13. This one should be obvious, ALSHON JEFFREY
  14. Well schefter, iirc, on twitter last night stated that they wanted wright the Baylor wr, but took Weeden as the consolation prize. It may not have been total BS on Clev. Part
  15. WOW!!!!! I'm not surprised, never was high on McCoy, but that quick....very surprising. I figured holmgren would at least pretend to have a comp. And drag it out thru TC.
  16. Alshon in the 2nd would be great. All these idiots talking sh** about Jeffrey have never seen the man work. With a good qb, he's better than Floyd and black on, hell he's alot like Andre Johnson in Texas IMO. That stupid picture from an Offseason photoshoot means nothing.
  17. As a udfa, sure id bring him in. I wouldnt draft a kid with his history, but on a flyer, sure, why not.
  18. Barron is very nice, but frankly speaking, we dont need him. A Corner, Wr, LT, or even qb are higher priority
  19. As a udfa, sure id bring him in. I wouldnt draft a kid with his history, but on a flyer, sure, why not.
  20. They want Gilmore, not Barron. Any interest nix may show in Barron is likely a ploy to find a trade partner. With gilmores stock on the rise, chances are he won't last to 10, if that's the case, Nix may want to trade back.
  21. I like Osweiler, he is def. A project player, but what he did in college and the similarities to chans system make him an interesting prospect. He has the measurables, and a yr or two on the bench may be exactly what he needs to develop into the QB of the future. I liken him to a big ben/Rivers mix. 3rd rd would be great value to snag Big Brock, IMO.
  22. Any o lineman not named Kalil, keuchley and Michael Floyd
  23. Jeffrey is more comparable to Anquan boldin, who was clocked slow coming out, and has had a very nice career.
  24. 1:Gilmore CB USC 2: Jeffrey WR USC 3:Osweiler QB ASU 4: broyles WR OU 4: Potter LT Boise st 5: Acho OLB Texas 5: Norman (cb CCU) 6: Adcock OT OK ST 7: lb depth 7: backup punter
