i like Murray from UGA also, but ultimately Smith is the guy that fits with what chan likes to do. Also, in terms of Accuracy, Geno's career 65% comp is more than acceptable. I still haven't gotten tgat list of how opposing qbs did vs LSU, hows it looking? Also, Vince Young was a notorious slacker in the film room and with practice habits, on the other hand, Smith is a team leader with reportedly excellent study habits.

He should pay part of it, maybe half. i don't care for the precedent thats been set with teams dismissing fines for players that holdout while under contract. in MJD's case he is being underpaid, but he signed the ext. its notnlike he's playing on his rookie deal. Players need to understand that its not their right to do this and get off scott free.

Barbarian, you REALLY need to sit down and actually WATCH geno smith, he's a pocket passer, prides himself on being a pocket passer, impressed everyone at the Manning PASSING Academy this past summer. He has the ability to run, but is so dead set on being a pocket passer that he often doesn't when he probably should. Seriously, please do some research.

It sounds like you just have this preconcieved notion that Smith is a runner first, which is wrong. The guy is a pocket passer with excepent arm strength. He's certainly not a wildcat qb or wr prospect. Frankly, it seems that you're stereotyping the black qb here, which couldnt be further from the truth. If Pachall is your guy thats fine, but stereotypical blanket statements likethe ones you've used just make you look bad.

i think this FO has decided to get as many pieces in place before pulling the trigger on a QB, by now we all know that the only qb they REALLY wanted was Cam, and for good reason, but aside from him, we havent been starring at a real franchise qb in any of the last 3 drafts. Next yr is the time as that will change, this FO will see exactly how far they can get with fitz this yr and come draft day next yr we will take a qb, maybe not rd 1, but sometime in the first 2 days.

based on what, certainly not the stats as of today, Smith has the edge in numbers, experience, athleticism the only edge pachall has is height and character concerns, i'm sure if they had a blunt smoking contest your boy would win easily, but right now, nothing suggest pachall is better than Smith. Just admit that you made an assumption about smith that was wrong. everybody has their guy they like, and thats ok, but you gotta come with FACTS if you're gonna traah somebody

well, for starters, you're completely wrong about Smith. Secondly, the guy you have in you sig that you apparently want in Buffalo appears to have some character issues, and third, when comparred head to head, Smith is clearly superior. But, if that wasnt enough, i believe they both play in the big 12 now, so lets just see how it goes this yr.

are you saying that Geno Smith, from WVU is a glorified RB? seriously?! He has less than 200 yds rushing over 3 yrs. in the last 2 seasons he passed for over 7000 yds, 55tds and only 14 ints. 4300plus yds last yr. That doesnt sound like a RB to me, stop looking at his skin, and pay attention to his play.

I'll be watching Geno Smith and Logan Thomas, both of whom i believe will be on our radar after the season.
