Damn, I forgot. This is the last year for the Draft and UFA. The Bills will not be able to add anything ever again. -

An all pro LB Does nothing for a team AN All Pro QB means your team is a perennial playoff contender. That draft gets you a 6-10 to 8-8 record every year. In 3-4 years when half of those players hit UFA and the other 25% turn out to be less than predicted. you are sitting here doing this same stupid song and dance over and over again. -

Looks at Cleveland, yeap, all those pick sure helped them. They picked all those star offense and defense players and ignored the QB position so much that they went 0-16 last year. -

If you give up 12,21,2nd,3rd,Next years first You still have a 1 2 and 3 this year. I think you are being a tad over dramatic on the "All the picks part" -

Is QB not a hole? Is it not the biggest hole on the team? -
Wife and I struggle with moving back constantly. Family and friends are what we miss. Weather and High taxes are a terrible burden. Buffalo/NY is constantly rated as one of the worst places financially to live. Financially it does not make sense for us to do so, but emotion sometimes outweighs financial status. It was again rated top of the charts on number of people moving out. It's starts with one thing, and that is the corruption at the top. NYS showing up at the top of all the wrong lists.

The majority of McCarron’s passes in the NFL so far came over his three starts at the end of the 2015 season. Over that stretch, the Bengals beat the 49ers and Ravens, each of whom finished 5-11, and lost in overtime to the eventual Super Bowl-champion Broncos. McCarron completed 54 of his 83 passes (65.1 percent) over that stretch with four touchdowns and no interceptions. That may look impressive and was good enough for a 100.1 passer rating as a starter, but the problem was that the Bengals’ offense slowed to a crawl. He averaged just 184 passing yards in those games, stalling an offense that averaged 376.9 yards in Dalton’s 13 starts. With McCarron at the helm for the final three games, Cincinnati averaged 276 yards and couldn’t top 300. That continued into the postseason, where the Bengals lost 18-16 to the Steelers and were outgained 369 yards to 279. Even during McCarron’s days at Alabama, he had a reputation as a game manager who leaned on a strong running game and an NFL-caliber cast around him. Hoping he can generate offense on his own and lead a team to points with his arm may be too much to ask. https://www.sbnation.com/2018/3/13/17020272/aj-mccarron-nfl-free-agency-2018-cincinnati-bengals so 4 TD's in 3 games with no INT's but the offense failed to move the ball consistently. hmmm.. where have i heard that before. -

The same AJ McCarron who took over the Cincinnati offense and drove it into the ground. The same AJ McCarron who averages less passing yards per game than Tyrod Taylor? -

Miami drafted Jake long instead of taking questionable Matt Ryan. boy did they make the right choice. They got that all star Tackle though. How did all star tackle Joe Thomas lift his team to the playoffs..... -

Ah yes. Next based on the past we should only draft guys from Tennessee or Purdue or Michigan. Tha'ts where the best QB's in the league have come from. -

Its not gambling. Is QB not a hole, is QB not the most important position on the field.? End of story. A MLB is not going to damn for you a stud WR is not going to throw the ball to himself a stud Guard is not going to matter if the guy he is blocking for cant get out of his own way a Stud CB (Cough White cough) is not going to win you games because the offense cant move the ball. We have seen this all for 18 years. How can you think that a QB is not important enough to get to teh top of the draft board. I do not understand. -
Are We a Playoff Team with A.J. ?

Its because neither of them are very good. -

How many times have the Bills had a good/great defense in the last 18 years? How many times were you left saying, man if we only had a QB this year? Check and mate. -

CountDorkula replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have all the picks though..... That obviously means that all stars are going to come out of the wood work. All the while Nate Peterman is going to throw 5 INTs a game, and AJ McCarron will slow the offense to a crawl like he did in Cincinatti when he took over and it all will matter not. -

CountDorkula replied to Seventeen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So 3 instead of 5. The OL is not to blame for all 5. Peterman was late and timid on several throws. There should have been more INT's in that game than there actually was. I was all for giving Peterman the start but he showed just how unprepared, and frankly unfit for the starting QB role he was. -

And none of those starters would matter with Nate Peterman throwing 5 INTS a game. How many times have the Bills tried to Build up the team to support a sub-par QB in the past 18 years? A stout MLB is not putting you in the playoffs, a #1 WR is not doing anything for you if he doesn't have anyone throwing him the Ball. An All-pro Guard is not doing anything if the guy he is protecting is not worth a damn. -

This is a very good article on him. I don't really have high expectations for him. From the article: McCarron completed 54 of his 83 passes (65.1 percent) over that stretch with four touchdowns and no interceptions. That may look impressive and was good enough for a 100.1 passer rating as a starter, but the problem was that the Bengals’ offense slowed to a crawl. How do you know a GM is lying this time of year? his lips are moving. -
Rumor: Trade up discussion with Giants
CountDorkula replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Right, because the Bills have had a dynamite QB for the last 18+ years, and just happen to ignore every other position. -
No because he was a terrible GM for the Colts and has been out of touch for a very long time. He also likes to make up S*^, like he had a first round grade on Tom Brady before he was Tom Brady, but he didn't draft him, even in the 4th or 5th Rd. No, he doesnt. He had a decade of S*** the bed for the Colts. He is so out of touch with the NFL today.

Get ready for massive overreaction if his day goes/ does not go well. Goes Well - Guy can play in inclement weather Does not go well - Soft, cant play outdoors, typical Cali kid, cant handle the Buffalo tundra.
