WGR Hosts Scared Of On-Air Confrontation
CountDorkula replied to BuffaloRush's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So what I gather from this entire thread is that you all listen to WGR and are not going to stop listening to WGR. But you are going to complain about it a lot. Also, WGR is not bad at all, trust me. You can have the local talk show where I am, where the shows just make fun of each other all day. Um, have you seen the NFL Draft success/bust rate. Those "million dollar" scouting departments are glorified weathermen. -

Lamar Jackson says he had zero meetings with Bills
CountDorkula replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lamar Jackson steals show at NFL Combine, meets with Buffalo Billshttp://www.newyorkupstate...s_with_buffalo_bills.html"When asked which teams he met with, the Buffalo Bills were the first team he mentioned. Jackson ran the Erhardt-Perkins offense at Louisville. That happens to be the same offense Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is scholed in. Jackson is more than confident he can command that offense in the NFL, too." -

Who in the Hell Is Mel Kiper, Jr?
CountDorkula replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
SO basically he is all of us, except he gets paid 6-7 figures to do so. Sounds like a terrible gig. -
I approve of this message!

Every coach the last 18 years has sad a similar version to this. You know what happened to every coach prior to Mcd the last 18 years? They were fired. Because without a QB, it is just a revolving door of GMs coaches and players.

Is Alabama cheating (paying players)?
CountDorkula replied to Juror#8's topic in Off the Wall Archives
The NCAA is a corrupt organization. It is between them and the IOC for most corrupt. -
YES! Every time! I think I might need to do a binge, have to bust out the DVD's since they took it off Netflix.

You are literally proving my point. The only thing that changed between GB and Indy was that they didn't have their Starting QB. The entire roster stayed the same. The pats entire roster stayed the same, but was Bradyless. The Bills won 16-0. All that other interchangeable mess matters when you have a QB that is crap. Why have the Bills been bad for so long, is it because they didn't have a complete team, or didn't have a QB? What happens to NE when Brady Retires. What happens to PITT when Big Ben retires. Denver had a great defense, it lasted 3 years, now they cant pay everyone and are picking top 5 because they don't have a QB.

Sure, because it doe not fit Your "build the team and it will work" no one is saying that if you get a QB you will be in the superbowl. We are saying if you get one, you have a chance to get there every year. You are going to tell me this list doe not hold any water. 1 Aaron Rodgers 104.93 2 Peyton Manning 97.22 3 Steve Young* 96.81 4 Philip Rivers 95.97 5 Tony Romo 95.78 6 Tom Brady 96.73 7 Drew Brees 95.26 8 Kurt Warner 93.71 9 Ben Roethlisberger 92.59 10 Joe Montana* 92.26

That was one of the only shows I was truly sad when it ended. It was such a phenomenal show. the episode (Other than the last) that always sticks with me is the rabies transplant episode.

No. no. this isn't 1980.

No, Take the shot while you can. Who knows if he translates into anything. Who knows when he comes out, who knows if the Bills will be in a position to draft him. but since he plays for Alabama, I'm sure we will have a certain poster here telling us how he is the reincarnation of Peyton Mannin, Tom Brady, Mike Vick, Aaron Rodgers and Jamarcus Russel combined.

Well if we are using past history to dictate future results, we should wait until round 6 and draft our QB there, The most prolific QB came in that round. Edit, Carson Wentz got his team there, and technically won a superbowl, so he also belongs on that list. Jared Goff appears to be coming into his own as well.

OK, you filled all those holes, but you still have a s*** QB. What happens in three years when you have to deciede whch players to resign and let go because of cap space. ALso, do you plan on hitting on 100% of those picks? because if you do that is extremely unrealistic. What if one of those first round pick busts? now you are hoping to get 3 starters out of 6 picks, which ain't that great.
-
So you stay put and you draft a great 4-3 LB and a CB that fits this scheme in rd 1. (Hopefully they pan out). You ten have a roughly 50% shot at making good picks in rd 2 and 3. so you get a good player or two, but you still don't have a QB. You know what happens to teams who dont have QB's? The coaches and GM get fired. They then have to bring in a new GM and coach, and their scheme is different so now all these great players don't fit. Now the new GM and coach trade and release all these new players and in 3 years you are back right where you started. but the bills nor the fans know anything about that. Trade up and take your shot. If you miss, you are still in the same scenario in 2-3 years as described as above.

not having a QB also gets GMs and coaches fired. Then we have to bring in new coach and GM and they start the process of trading and releasing the old regimes guys and bringing in their own. So all that draft capital we spent on good players doesn't fit the new system, and then they get released/traded so it was wasted anyways. But we wouldn't know anything about that.
