Colts to make Peyton Manning highest paid player in NFL
CountDorkula replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
^^^This. IMO no one is worth 20 Million dollars. IF the CBA goes away you can expect Baseball type salaries like the ones for Pithcers who get 15-20mil a year to play once every 5 games. I did a report on this for my graduation college paper and you would not believe some of the things i found out about the economy. To talk football now. If Manning was smart he would cut that to 12-13Mil a year so the Colts can surround him with better talent, given they wont have the money to spend on other players with his salary locked up. -
Should i really super-size it?
-
OK Negative Nancy, Do you have a post where you are not ripping something apart, I have yet to see one. IMO the day the revenue sharing goes away is the day the NFL will fall. How many cities would be able to come up with the money to sustain a succesful franchise.

He didnt get a chance to really show that extra gear in Phili he played a very minimal role, so he got to showcase nothing. Answer me this, If Mike Vick was the QB of this team and the Bills were in the superbowl, even the playoffs, would you watch? That goes for everyone that is saying they would be"done" if the Bills signed Vick.

IM putting my .02 cents in now before this turns into a morality and character fight. As a football standpoint why not give up a conditional 6th and 7th round pick for him. As a football view it makes sense bring in a guy with experience and that has been to teh playoffs, and can move around in the pocket to avoid the pass rush. The knocks: Vick has been out of football for 2 years he has lost a step. Answer me this, How has Vick lost a step by being out of the NFL, but our beloved Fred Jackson benefits by taking the time off? Vick is turning 30. Brett Favre and Kurt Warner are both over 40 and still playing at a high level. Fred Jackson is 30 and we all want him to start next year. Vick is an average QB. He was once concidered the most dominant QB in the game with his dual threat abilities. He has taken a team to the playoffs, and has a winning record as a QB, thats more than can be said about any QB on our roster.

Are there any home renovators on the board?
CountDorkula replied to zevo's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Me and my father tried this to our upper half bath and it was just a royal pain in the . We really had no experience in flooring, but did put in pergo flooring through the downstairs in the kitchen and dinning room. We figured eh we could do that to. I suggest like the others if you dont have experience have someone else do it. The stress is not worth it. -

Don't count out Trent Edwards
CountDorkula replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My take on our 3 QB's Edwards- Has shown flashes of being good, we were 5-1 at one point and eveyone loved him, now he has been abismal and everyone hates him. If we gave him another shot i would be ok with it. If we let him walk i would be ok with that as well Fitzpatrick - Very inconsistent, Great one throw atrocious the next. Mobile, but IMO just an adequate backup. Brohm - Aparently has potential and lots of it. The guy was on a practice squad behind day 2 picks. If he had this potential and was any sort of good dont you think other teams would have gone after him as well. I just dont see why everyone is high on him. Again if we give him a shot im ok with it, if we let him go ok with that as well -
Should we sign Ryan Leaf?
CountDorkula replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was highly sought after out of college and has all the intangibles to be a starting QB, Plus i hear he has a lot of potential, kinda like Brohm -
Bursting Bubbles we shall do. Mel Kiper had JC as the top overall, not QB, but overall prospect at one point this year. I believe it was about a month and a half ago actually after the FBS "season" had just ended. Comparing JC and Brady Quinn is wrong. It makes no sense to sat JC is good or bad because he played at the same school Quinn. I understand and see the numbers, but they are 2 different people. IMO JC is going to be a good qb, not great but a QB who will be able to manage the game, and win you a couple on his own.

T.O. Blasts QBs...ALL OF THEM!!!
CountDorkula replied to Buffalo Beeeews's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This. Is it just a coincidence that T.O. had his best seasons playing with McNabb. IMO i think McNabb makes his receivers, just like Manning and Brees do. Im not saying he is on their level but he is a close second tier QB -
Does that mean i have to eat my words and actually but it...

So if we did draft him: What the H,F,JC...explicit,explcit, explicit. We have so many other positions to fill. If we dont: (a year later) Why did we not draft guys names who i cant pernounce (Iupati) instead of (insert name her) the FO does not no what it takes to win for anyhitng gosh i hate this team, i give up on them(Quick i need a post to write a letter on TSW about my quitting the team) This goes for any pick at #9

Bacteria came before the chicken or the egg.... Im not really sure how tha applies but i felt like sharing.

I honestly believe our Defense mailed it in alot of times, knowing that they were generally getting no help on the other side of the ball. Would you risk getting injured and give it your all knowing it would all be for a losing effort all because of you teammates on the other side of the ball. I wouldent i know that. I believ alot oe people/players feel this way IMO.

Terrence Cody a "Sloppy" 370 Pounds at Senior Bowl
CountDorkula replied to Thurman#1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont care if he did move. If he ate a Patriot* or two i would be generally ok with it.
