Bills could draft #3 overall

Why Cause he went to USC? Not a supporter or hater but the "he went to this school argument" is terrible. -

And so it starts. . .You know this how? -
Shooting at Connecticut Elementary School
CountDorkula replied to Wooderson's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I felt the same way. I actually teared up at this one. I was listening to the Rome show when I heard it, I turned it off and just sat in silence confused and disturbed. My most heart felt sympathy and prayers goes out to all of the families of the victims. And as for the gunman rotting in hell is not enough punishment for you. -
NFL Playoff expansion????
CountDorkula replied to KellyToTasker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are right the current format never lets average teams in. It would never say let a 7-9 Seattle team have a home playoff game against the Saints (11-5), while the 10-6 Giants and the 10-6 Bucs dont make it... -
Brian Urlacher. What say you?
CountDorkula replied to CountDorkula's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure how that applies? Urlacher is still in the league and could potentially be a FA at a position of need. LT is retired and a RB. I still cant decide. On one hand he would be a great "Teacher" to the youg guys and team leader, but on the other if he cant stay healthy, it's almost as if you are wasting a roster spot. -
Reports and rumors out of Chicago state that Urlacher may be on his way out of Chicago. The reporter in the article below thinks resigning Urlacher is a bad idea for Da Bears. http://www.chicagotr...,1254144.column Urlacher has said himself if they bring me back thats great if not so be it. (I may has paraphrased a little bit) At first thought I heard the name Urlacher and said Yes yes and yes again. Then as I was reading into it given his age and injury history (Out again for the remainder of the year) I am not so sure. So i ask, If Urlacher is a free agent and you are the GM do you bring him in to help sure up this LB core?

I truly feel horrible for Ryan Fitzpatrick.
CountDorkula replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You do not know that, no one does. We could end of drafting the best QB of all time, but because he is not a cant miss prospect he is no good. I'm so sick of this there is no legit QB prospect this year, or that year. I hear it every year, and every year more and more teams are going with Rookies or younger QB's. -
I'm goning to go with, if you have to prove that our starting QB is better than 3rd string Charlie Batch, should he really be are starting QB? To me that is a resounding no. To be honest his stats are not much better. I compare fitz to Derek Anderson.

Why you don't hope to win meaningless games:
CountDorkula replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im generally indifferent about the Bills and the end of the season now. If they win, good. I know its not leading anywhere but it's nice to see. If not it helps the draft status. Cop out answer or not, that is how i feel on Sundays. For me its not about the team record anymore at this point it's about individual players. Watching Gilmore,Spiller, Dareus, even Mario Williams and the other youg guys and just seeing the potential. -
13 pro teams hurting for fans...one NFL team
CountDorkula replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All of those teams to me have a common theme. None have come close to winning the big one, let alone consistently in the last 10 years. Aside from the '04 Pistons. That could play a huge role. -
I'd rather see a CB or another LB in RD 3. I think the D-line is set especially at D-End.
-
If you multiply that with having to use a backup QB like the Bears did you can. The Texans scored a whopping 13 points. I would say conditions played a huge factor in that game. Players slipping and falling down all over the place.
-
Im gona go with this had a lot to do with Cutler going down and the pouring rain that fell for most of the game and less to do with offensive expertise.
-
The way I see it is Franchise QB's are found in the top ened of teh Draft, while good-Adequate LB's can be found later in the Draft and FA. Im all in for QB in RD 1.

Fitz has more balls than anyone on the defense
CountDorkula replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It is easier to find adequate/good LB's in this league in FA. Franchise QB's come from the draft. Once a team gets one they very rarely let it go. Im all in for Franchise QB in RD 1. -

This may have been true 5 years ago, but you cant just pick 2 that make your argument. Newton, RG3,Luck, Dalton, Tannehill, all started right out of college. Yea there is always that risk it does not work, but it needs to be done here. Coach, and QB need to be the 1st things changed. -
Looks like I know where I will be heading for work next week. Storm duty here I come!

Golisano interview on the Bills & ownership
CountDorkula replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My goodness people take a look at the financials. In hockey over half of the teams are losing money (hence the lockout). Tom was never a hockey fan, and he admitted that. He did it to save the team, he is a football fan. It is guranteed you will make money in the NFL, even with the cap at whatever it may be, he could let this team spend to the cap every year and still turn a huge profit. I am in full support of this. I would have to assume he would be working with Jim Kelly and his gurus. Again, that is an IMO statement. -
Sabres season tickets are roughly 54 a ticket. they play 41 home games. thats $2,214 a year for tickets. Bills (I would have to assume) play 8 home games a year. Even if a ticket went up to 150 a seat thats $1,200. $1,000 less. People can afford it, they would rather see a winner. IMO if the Bills are good, this is not an issue. The only difference is that the Sabres have show life in the recent past.

This game against Oklahoma scares the poop out of me. I think the Defense can hang with them, as long as they donn't revert to he first half against BYU defense with the mental mistakes. The offense is what scares me. I am not sure it will be able to handle the Oklahoma defense. That said. Mantai Tae'o might be my favorite player in all of football both college and pro.
