  1. Because everyone knew that are 1st and 2nd string QB's were going to get injured and our UDFA 3rd string QB was going to have to play V the Pats. Also TJax is a 1st ballott HOF player.
  2. Should we start a "Players from other teams cut that the Bills should sign" thread so we dont have a billion Player X cut should we sign him threads? J'Marcus Webb, OT - Started 44 Games. Could he slide to guard and backup and eventually take over? Daniel Fells, TE - Big TE, 6'4 270. could be a depth TE. Dickerson cut creates a need at depth TE. Brian Banks - LB - Spent 5 years in jail. an inspirational story. 5th year man. Depth LB. Jake Ballard - TE - Injury issues. played well for the Giants. Was once thought to be Shockey replacement. Stanford Routt - CB - Vetean CB, couldnt stick with the Chiefs or Raiders. Marc Anthony - CB - 7th Rd pick of the Raves.
  3. All of those starters played in teh previous 3 games, Jarius has not played a snap this year. It is crazy they wanted him to get some game action before the season starts?
  4. I was hoping he would perform well, He sounded great in his interview with Murph. Too bad, but like you said, he will be on TV somewhere, probably ESPN.
  5. That would make sense, wouldn't it. IMO Jarius would have played in that game yesterday, and he didn't want to. That is why he went to get a second opinion on his "injured foot" Perhaps he shouldnt have held out and came down from I want to be paid the best even though I havent earned it attitude and he would have been able to practice and participate.
  6. I was thinking the same thing.
  7. I was just about to come in and say this. If Leinart comes in and plays a good game with only a week of practice under his belt. Bills fans SHOULD BE happy about it.
  8. IMO, that is what you will see. The family of the deceased will see he is getting this bonus and will go after it hard.
  9. This is where I will have to disagree. The moment someone takes anothers life in murder, they deserve and are owed nothing. Regardless of prior events and if they "worked out"
  10. I love acqusations that dont make any damn sense at all. This crap on this board is insane. No one has said this, except for you.
  11. I've said it many times, Leinart had a great interview with John Murphy. it is well worth the listen. He mentioned the maturing process he has gone through. Said that the injuries really took a toll on him mentally. I was happy to hear he was willing to take on a leadership role and help teach Manuel and Tuel. I am with you eball. I'm excited to see what he can do.
  12. Hernandez deserves nothing. In this case alos the Pats can push for substance abouse as another reason not to pay it. Apparently he abused "Angel Dust"
  13. I've come to learn that if something negative happens around here such as, Your franchise CB gets hurt, Your 2nd string QB gets a career threatening injury, Your hopeful franchise QB has an undisclosed surgery etc... you are not allowed to discuss it or else you are overreacting. Jeff Tuel starting week 1 is about as bad as it can get. He is this preseasons Joique Bell, except now he might be the player at the most important position on the field.
  14. If you think the Pats are going to beat the Bills 40-13 you might as well leave your fan card at the door and not watch then.
  15. Leave Teddy alone, he once saved puppies and their toys from a burning car.
  16. Actually it had a lot to do with it. Wannstedt never changed personelle, never switch up the looks. Called the same packages and plays. It was said be a NE (cant remeber who) player that "They kept showing the same thing, so we kept doing the same thing." The coaching staff was so inept it is laughable.
  17. Man, I teard up and had Goosebumps reading that
  18. I saw the same. it looks like a perfectly legal tackle/hit. Instead he should have just gone low at his knee and ended the guys carrer. He would still have the $21,000 to his name. /sarcasm
  19. He hit him just below the shoulders in the pads. I see nothing wrong with this hit. NFL is becoming a joke with these hit fines. Why not just play flag football?
  20. Maybe I am off base on this one. Though It is a minor concern. I thought I had out that in the OP, but I did not that is one me. From the limited practice I saw he just did not look like i thought he would in his second year. This could be a major coincidence. Also, myabe I am just expecting way to much from the guy in his second year after a solid first. Just pure domination all the time. And you are correct he has been good in games. Again hopefully my concerns with him are proven wrong. The Mario Willaims thing was in reference to some posters here criticizing Mario for not showing in preseason. It refers to guys who have allready solidified themselves as stars in this league and need liitle preaseon reps, and do not take it too seriosuly.
  21. Again in the practices, Jerry hughes was getting a lot of pressures from that side, he has beaten Glenn. As I stated I am hoping it is just Cordy in practice not giving it his all. As mentioned he did keep Allen in check, which is good. But was Allen going all out (See Mario Williams) Was Minnesoats a Vanilla scheme?
  22. Now that we are half way through the preseason. What are your top positional concerns about this roster? Mine in order: LG - Has this gone from one of are strongest to the weakest spot on the team. The competition has been less than stellar to this point. CB#2 - Gilmore is a stud as #1. Can a revolving door of McKelvin, Rogers, Brooks and co provide Pettine with enough support so he can run his D scheme effectively? I hate saying this but Dick Jauron was right, "You can never have too many DB's" TE - Can Chandler come back healthy and regain his effectiveness? Does this roster have enough TE depth to cover if Chandler cannot go? FS - Will Byrd be back, I believe so. Until then this has to be a concern for any fan. Searcy while ok in spot duty, has lacked in his ability to lock down in a starting role. LT - To me, Cordy Glenn has not looked as good in his second year as I thought he wood. Jerry Hughes has consistently put pressure on the QB's in practice. Hopefully this is just Cordy Not giving his all in the preseason, and can lock down the LT position. As a note I am concerned about the O-line in general. this has to be the weak point of the team. My what a difference a year makes!
  23. It had nothing to do with the terrible D scheme the Bills ran, the inept QB play, or the chicken poop coach that wouldnt try a long field goal. It all falls on Mario Williams?
  24. 10.5 sacks last year on a terrible vanilla defense. Guy produced. You should probably sheck your bust terminology. Aaron Maybin = Bust. not Mario Williams.
