    Hmmmm.. Penalties this year. Offensive PI Pats - 4 Bills - 2 Defensive Holding Pats -9 Bills - 7 Defensive PI Pats - 3 Bills - 6 .....

    Ugh - we have been talking yards the entire damn time. "NE only gets hit with 5 yard penalties" Indy and NE . are at or near the top in yards, number of calls, beneficiary yards. etc. I was asked to compare them to Indy because of the "bad division" Which I did. At they are very similar. hence why i brought up Division play. SO far stats are in my favor...

    Indy had more beneficiary yards then NE last year..... Indy Net yards - 403 NE Net yards - 352

    Ive seen Orton throw the Ball at the ground at the feet of the RB on screen a couple times. It is the same difference. Both are intentionally avoiding a sack.

    What about the Hawks? I watched a game where they played Dallas and should have a lot of penalties called on them. Or is it they are not in our division so it does not matter.

    It is because they are in the division. I see no one complaining about the Seahawks "getting calls" or the Broncos "getting calls"

    You do realize most of those penalty yards came against Duke Williams. Or should that have not been called?

    C'mon man. that is just not true. They are averaging the 2nd most yards penalized per game. The most penalties per game. They are at -208 yds for the season in penalty yards gained V lost.

    I see this happen all the time. The ref will walk up and smack the player on the butt telling him to move. Non issue. Fun fact NE is the most penalized team in the league this year.....

    I like Mannion from Oregon State. He is a tall guy (6'5) with a big arm. He is a bit of a project but he can throw it. Reminds me a bit of Flacco.

    He ain't the only one. I guess giving up a higher draft pick is more important to seeing if he gives you a better chance to win.

    I think that is what most people are aiming for. Having Orton and Bradford compete for the starting job, along with EJ. Does Orton have the ability to opt out of the contract? I dont know much about his contract details.

    What is so bad about having competition? If Bradford outperforms Orton after Orton had "a great" season, wouldn't that be a good thing?

    He was great in 2013 before he went down. 14TD's 4 INT's and 1700 yds in 5 games.

    Yea no. I have not once defended Spiller. he Can been traded/released. The team is avg 3.7 YPC. Third worst in the NFL. That is not all on Spiller. Hating Spiller is fine, but saying Hackett has no blame is foolish as hell.

    Whats your point on defending it? We traded up for Sammy Watkins because he is a game changer, Yet they can find a way to get the ball into his hands. No WR screens, no end around. 3 Targets in a game.
