Here is the way I look at it.
Here in Atlanta the Falcons are in first place with a losing record. They do not care, they see their team struggling but all they keep saying is just get in and you never know.
In Buffalo they draft what will possibly the best player they have had in a very very long time yet people want to question the decision because there is a guy that has numbers that are close to him.
So what you are saying is we can cut Dareus, Mario, Kiko, Sammy, FJ ETC, but as long as this team plays together, they should win (Given they have good QB play)
Go look at his recent track record. the Colts were a train wreck without Manning. 1-15 disaster. He drafted as many busts as the Bills did. He insisted on giving his son a job. They are a tandem. Letting Whaley go is a huge mistake. Buffalo got the best WR in the draft. Blame the staff and QBs for not getting him the ball.
We wanted a bold GM, we have one. We now want to get rid of him?
No it does not, but it does give Orton another option to throw the ball too throughout an entire game, which given the opportunity can help change the outcome.
Plus now it seems like a wasted draft pick.
Here is what I don't get you dress a KO Specialist to kick it out of the endzone 3-4 times a game. Larry Dean is active to play strictly on ST and do what exactly then?
Gragg needs to get more reps IMO.
The Offense is bottom of the league bad.
2nd to last in avg yds per drive.
5th to last in TDs per drive.
6th to last in offensive efficiency rating,
2nd to last in avg plays per drive,
last place in drive success rate.
top 5 in average field position start

Who do we blame?
Orton holds all the cards and can opt out of his contract. If Orton continues on this track, we are going to have to pay him starter money. Like $10MM+ a year for 2+ years.
Don't take me as one of these people wanting Hackett fired. I questioned some play calls, but overall, im happy. Just going on record to what the post says if go an entire quarter without a first down, it is going to be more trouble against KC then it was against the NYJ.
Honestly I would put someone back there and just tell them to kneel it every time. Start at the 20. They are only gona have 1 KO return anyway, either at the beginning of the game or second half.
