  1. dont you people ever play madden? the best defense is of course one that can switch between 4-3, 3-4, nickel, and dime! that way, the QB never knows whats going to happen
  2. yea he is listed as a possible LT... hmm... maybe interesting to watch... he definitely has the size and good numbers
  3. i just cant get myself to root for the saints... i dont know what it is, but i just dont like them. something about the story thats gonna be brought up about the lingering effects of the hurricane and such... idk why but that annoys me a bit because every other place on earth would have "recovered" by now, and i think NOLA has recovered already. sure, its nice that they are finally going, but they can lose in it 4 times first
  4. and we could've also had tom brady... EDIT: beat me to it.
  5. i can see spikes going to NE instead of tebow... i dont think theres any way that NE takes a qb in the first round when they have brady, wildcat or no wildcat
  6. j-e-t-s suck suck suck! and im rootin for the old man... he's just one of those players that i have nothing but respect for.... dont find that too often
  7. one more thing that apparently doesnt exist on the internet yet... like the highlights of the comeback until very recently. i would really like to see this
  8. excellent post... good to see someone who knows LA good but i have to ask, hasnt this already been approved if they secure a team to play there? http://www.losangelesfootballstadium.com/
  9. that sounds like a "teacher" to me
  10. one thing... LA wants that team NOW. ralph is still alive (knock on wood) so our team is not for sale. therefore, we should be out of the question because LA wants to have their team set and ready right away so they can start building their (very impressive i must say) stadium. and if anything, we'll wind up like GB used to be, split between here and TO... and it would be blasphemy to have a retractable stadium in buffalo... they dont like opening the roof in winter, and that would just screw up all that is good about buffalo football
  11. it seemed like AVP was trying to do what gailey has succeeded in doing with trying to make something from not much. maybe keeping him around as an assistant (sure give him the OC name even though he wont be calling plays or anything) would be good for us in the long run. if he learns from gailey and gailey succeeds, then maybe avp will develop into someone who is a good OC and can learn to run a team. plus, he should know his way through all the OC paperwork already so gailey wont have to do it all himself
  12. all these people who say they wanted the job, how do we know they WEREN'T interviewed? I mean, we didnt know that Gailey was even interviewed or in the running, so who's to say that we didnt interview them all in secret and not hire them for reasons only known within the organization?
  13. from espn: http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...-laidback-bills sounds good to me!
  14. yes... but it sounds like gailey is planning to try whatever offence he thinks will work with what he has... and it seems like it has worked for him in the past, bringing up horrible offences to at least mediocre status and mediocre offences to decent levels... so the spread is just one part in his massive bag of tricks
  15. people say that chan is too old... yet old schott would be fine...
  16. after the PC and his interview on S&R earlier i must say im looking forward to this coming season. and im still not too big on the tebow idea... he is impressive at times, but im not too sure he would be right, or if he would even want to play here i guess time will tell
  17. wow... ICE giving someone a chance...
  18. one more point... he didnt win a playoff game in his 2 seasons coaching in dallas... how many years did it take marty schott? bill cowher?
  19. the closest we could get to cowher was the guy who cowher recommended as HC and would have brought with him as OC
  20. i believe this refers to a man called Marv who was fired from the chiefs in the mid 80's after going 3-6 in the strike, coached in the USFL for a year, then came in mid season to coach an nfl team that was in complete shambles. so yea... that kinda worked out for us
  21. yet these were done in KC... a place with less talent than even buffalo...
  22. correct my if im wrong, but dont the fans (of which i am one) want to see the team win? thats something. apparently you outsiders think that we FANS like a guy who is gonna sit around and on himself on the sidelines every game while the team goes out and sucks
  23. well thats better that what we've had for the past 10 years only breaking .500 once hovering in the bottom-middle of the league and not being IN the playoffs yea... he really sucks just because he isnt the biggest name that was thrown at the wall by the "ANALysts" doesnt mean he cant at least do SOMETHING with this team
  24. wow... not very often you see 8 minutes of JUST highlights from the one game, with only 1 or 2 clips played 2x... good game... definitely need those red end zones back
