actually... this makes sense based on current rumblings and last years' rosters. Though I see you're assuming Schoebel is gone. Biggest toss up is still at QB though. If Trent wins, I can see your list. If Brohm or Fitz win on the other hand, I can see Trent being gone.

I think the general idea is that Chan can do what Juaron couldnt, and thats make things work with what is there. He put up rather impressive numbers with a 3rd string qb in KC, so the idea is he can create an offense that can make up for what it is lacking personel wise.

May I ask why he shouldn't try to be a team leader? That seems like one big thing this team has been missing for the past few years. It would be nice for a player to step up and make sure things are getting done, and hold people accountable for what they do. If Whitner wants to really help this team, making an effort to be a leader would be a good place to start.

I think Brown would be more likely to be dropped and signed to squad than Fitz. I would also like to see Roosevelt make the team, but I really have no idea how he's doing trying to adjust to the pros

Man, it really is painful to hear that fitz has been looking so good. though it seems from the videos trent and brohm have about the same amount of zip on their passes, brohm's passes hold a lot tighter of a spiral. I dont know what happened that fitz suddenly has a tighter spiral than trent, but from the looks of it, the qb race IS still completely a toss up

i'm sure from the standpoint of a 35 year old guy i'd probably see it differently, but as a 20 year old guy I admit i find it weird when a girl 18~20 is "in a relationship" with someone ~7+ years older than them. when it gets above 10 or so years then its downright creepy, and when that person is older than one of the girl's parents then there is something seriously wrong with both of them.

Well what were our QB's combined stats last year? And I doubt many people would argue that we have more talent on our team than KC did in 2008. Hey, as long as it moves efficiently and your receivers can move after the catch then you dont need to throw the long ball.

If our line can give our QB a few seconds to think on his feet (not his ass) then we probably can see a good season. It looked good last year until injuries started decimating the team (and the mass amount of false starts due to the no huddle). I think our QB corps has talent, they just havent had the coaches or the chances to be able to work properly. I mean, wasnt it Trent who went 5-1 a few years ago? Didnt Brohm look quite good last year when he was suddenly starter, making passes behind our lack of a line and only making mistakes that were generally due to the fact he was only on the team for 3 weeks and had only practiced with the 1st or even 2nd team for a week? This year sounds like we have coaches that can get it, and every OTA that goes by makes this year seem like its gonna be better than the last 10

Stop complaining about the old organization. They sucked. They're gone. All better now. I think that whitner's comments are great. Finally someone is here who the team respects and actually makes the team work. And knows how to run routes in the middle. It was almost getting tedious in the highlights with all the big passes into double coverage over the middle. Obviously thats something that chan saw was missing in the previous organization and is something that the team needs to be drilled on. I'm looking forward to this season and the CHANge that has come to OBD

no thanks. for someone who makes 6 mil a year he drops way too many passes and doesnt try to go for the ball if it isnt thrown where TO wants it to be. Sure the 5 plays he made last year were good and his work ethic may also be good in his first year with a team, but we can send out a hardy or johnson or cousin joe from down the street and they can do the same thing he did most of last year.

The stadium downtown actually makes a lot of sense... theres plenty of room and lands that really couldnt be used for much else. Detroit I believe did about the same thing. Having their stadium, baseball park, and arena within walking distance is really quite cool... other than in buffalo you'd have to figure out how to park and get people in/out of the city when there are 2/3 events per day. It takes long enough to get out for the ~20k person hockey games, could you imagine trying to get out of the parking garages for 80k+?
