Brady needs to mix up the offense tonight with some play action. The offense has looked terrible the past two weeks and the Jets defense is probably better than the both the Ravens and Texans. One of the biggest issues has been small gains on first down putting the offense into second and third and long allowing teams to just blitz and play pass.

I think the bigger issue is Brady's refusal to allow Allen to be himself. Allen is a top 3 quarterback but is 22nd in the league in pass attempts. Brady is essentially taking the game out of his hands and putting it on our run game. Brady seems to have a fascination of running out of the heavy package on first downs and not mixing it up while teams stack the box against the run and put the Bills into 2nd and 3rd and long situations allowing the defense to play solely for a pass. In the game day thread I kept asking why we wouldn't go play action on first down when the Texans were selling out for the run every time Anderson was on the field.

Quit playing a soft zone defense

Terrible defense up the middle.

Pass protection is terrible. Brady putting us in terrible position with his ***** first down play calling.

Can we pass on first down or is there a rule for the Bills that I don’t know about?

For the love of god mix it up on first down. Heavy package and run is almost a guaranteed play on our first down.

McDermott is a defensive minded coach but we consistently fold in pressure situations on defense.

Can’t stand Diggs but we don’t have a receiver that is even close to the same category as him.

90% of the time we are in the heavy package we run the ball. Brady needs to mix it up to keep the defense guessing.
