Not replacing Daboll with a legitimate proven NFL coordinator was a crime. Maybe the Bills prefer to promote from within and thought they were doing the right thing. We will see how they deal with the DC position next year. No way McD can continue to do both successfully.

I think what we saw tonight is the type of game McD wants to see. Strong defense and a tough offense with a good run game that can control the clock. Allen brings the added big play dimension. Is this good enough against high powered offenses? We will see in the next 3 weeks.

Allen has been in a funk since last year. Brady has been his QB Coach. Not sure that’s the guy that is going to pull him out of it. Time will tell I guess.

Allen’s issues are all coaching related and can be fixed

It’s time for a change. Allen has heard everything this coaching staff including the head coach has to say. Josh Allen is the franchise and his continued success is more important than anything else. Many have done their best. Now they just need to do it somewhere else. Cold, hard reality.

Head Coach also taking on the DC role. Big mistake. Reeks of desperation. Can’t play both roles successfully and no way back from it. Short of a Super Bowl he signed his ticket out of here with this move. Replacing your OC with an unproven rookie coordinator. Allen’s buddy. Big mistake. In way over his head. Really needed an experienced coach to keep this offense focused and dynamic. Neither happened. Now what? Big changes must happen. Maybe Brady can do the job. Maybe not. McD’s fate is already sealed imo. He is coaching for his next job.

Any good OC’s available with HC potential? My God. We don’t need someone to ask the players what we can do better. We need someone to step up and grab the reigns. Get the player’s full attention and get to work on fundamentals.

I think he is a decent DC. The defense has played well enough to win every game this year. But how do you go back from being a HC/ DC? Doesn’t seem like a good position to be in. Maybe Frazier really is coming back next year 😳
