  1. I think someone might pick up on a different guy calling the plays. It’s a pretty visible task.
  2. just give the man a cup of sunny d pregame. No more, no less.
  3. We all know a public demotion like that is a big deal. Especially if it’s not the HC taking the reins.
  4. finally. He should be in a ton more down there. Dorsey has been ridiculous with this piece.
  5. it’s every drive for the whole season except for 1 i don’t even hate Murray but cook is rolling. Let him play in the big moments.
  6. it’s maddening.
  7. Let cook play inside the 10
  8. meh. I have a hard time selling this as a top 5 offense. Great output against Miami but 5(?) of the last 8(?) games have not been top 5 performances. it’s turning into the Gabe Davis of WR2s. Flashy and unreliable output that accumulates well but can disappear more than they should.
  9. The usage stats are staggering in contrast. He’s not getting the opportunity.
  10. I’d still like to see him in the red zone more. I wonder if we’ve been stubborn with that lack of usage.
  11. how to be a distraction, and unable to control yourself despite repeatedly saying he needs to not run his mouth so much?
  12. I’ll keep echoing - dawkins/thibodeaux being my offsetting and swept under the rug wouldn’t bug me. Both sides chippy and no one at risk of real injury…. so get it on record in case of continued issues and move on away from the play and after the play clobbering a guy and resulting in injury should be an ejection. The precedent it sets and behavior encouraged by lumping it all together is dangerous. That it wasn’t enven an escalated fine really does surprise me too.
  13. And with the nature of the nfl, I’m not sure makes a whole lot of sense to potentially do with guys every couple years. But such is life
  14. it’ll take him a career to afford the buy in.
  15. it’s still an nfl game but the bills are the substantially better team. It’d have to be the pats near their ceiling and bills at their floor to be a concern of losing. Both possible but I’m not losing sleep over it.
  16. same feedback on fridge experiences and advice… only problem, last time I needed warranty work they told me it’d be like 6 weeks to get anyone out for diagnostics. Obviously that doesn’t work with a room temp fridge and a house of people that generally enjoy owning food that needs to be cooled. had to go on an absolute warpath online for 2-3 days. sending demand letters to every email in the company I could find quoting laws on repair vs when they become required to replace if they can’t service timely. May favorite was a lightly viral social post looking for frontier era food preservation techniques that I think actually moved the needle Repairman came on day 4-5. I don’t want to deal with that every repair. I don’t know the solution there.
  17. Yet alone changing teams, right? Suddenly he’s playing against a team he owns?
  18. well, an ownership stake is finite. It can’t be the answer or the owner runs out of ownership to give. And I doubt players would love ownership approval processes. Yet alone the teams dealing with annual public valuations to handle the salary cap. It’s just not reality and therefore not leverage. owners will just tell players to go buy whatever company or team they want with their paycheck.
  19. yup. Early downs should’ve been runs. Kamara/taysom are beasts in the red zone, forces the jags to use timeouts and likely gets closer to the goal line to force the jags to continue to play run defense. 4th and 5 a corner isn’t even peeking into the backfield. 4th and 1-2 and they have to wonder about stepping up to tackle. also it reduces the risk of turnover/penalty with a battered line and clearly hurting qb.
  20. yea, I’ll risk a step back to try to take a step forward here. I don’t care if we turn into a wild card loser instead of a divisional loser if it’s taking a swing at being a Super Bowl winner. I hope McDermott proves me wrong but that he couldn’t get it done in easier windows makes me skeptical about finishing the job with less margin of error
  21. Honestly thought you couldn’t drive the guy into the returner but I guess even calling it that is a fine line when the jag was running relatively free still
  22. he’s a solid rotational piece and seems like a good dude. You could do worse for rb3. my concern for him is just that at some point the wheels have to fall off but otherwise - I’ve enjoyed watching him at a few spots along the way.
  23. representatives making it known to agents could be any family member talking off the cuff without any knowledge of what he’s really cool with. I’d say until the reports are his agent telling teams that it’s just an uncle mouthing off about what he deserves type of situation pushes his second nfl contract back a year though. And usc won’t beat that unless he’s a terrible bust
  24. you can believe whatever you want about the jets. I do not believe they are a playoff team.
  25. im infinitely skeptical of an Achilles being that quick and being able to be remotely mobile. Which given a poor line are they really racing him back for garbage games where he may not be able to protect himself? Would be a very jets move I guess.
