  1. should get plenty of crossers and whips
  2. And the fourth if needed
  3. twice… and the 3rd down on the first drive? can Dorsey.
  4. Dorsey shouldn’t be allowed to finish the game
  5. going to be on pace for 24 points, a million yards, and absolutely disaster calls in the biggest moments.
  6. twice in a row has to be about 110% chance or success
  7. Two drives in a row Dorsey blows 3rd down with terrible calls
  8. just a disaster to end it. but will show statistically productive, and point producing. but that was terrible on 3rd
  9. I’m going to keep saying it. Curb stomp the bucs, break their playoff hopes, and tell them to leave mike evans in Buffalo.
  10. yea, I’m fine with their keep it all in house philosophy but i think this one needs to get explained to the base. Even if cryptically through back channels…. Rarely do I say the fans are owed something but Norman over Elam would be far enough outside reasonable that something is needed. If he’s not moved basically by halftime you need to play your better player at 4-3. You can’t hold guys out because he might be traded this weekend.
  11. 15-20 is a good rhythm for him to land around 300 for the season some games a couple more, others a few less. 20 per is 340 touches and I don’t see value pushing over that level as a goal
  12. you can’t sell me on Norman with a full off-season as more talented today…
  13. honestly I think a more natural fit there Mike evans is the guy I’d be trying hard to steal
  14. you can’t compare Murray to Henry. It’s like saying why would the bucs trade for Josh when they have baker. the real issue is I’m not sure this was ever the “all in” year in our window and an aging back is a big push of the chips that’s unlikely to make the difference
  15. Agreed that there must be something noteworthy that’s stayed in house. Otherwise there are bigger issues organizationally if it’s just skill based and how they think he needs to be handled.
  16. I’m just baffled. There’s clearly some hope for him but if he’s blacklisted in house I guess get anything you can
  17. Again and again I’ll say he needed to learn how to step out or slide in meaningless moments, not to stop being a dynamic runner. He should take off and we should design runs too. Just be aggressive instead of reckless when you get going. With these quotes -Josh trying to manage the sugar high better isn’t terrible though. In control but still loose is the balance we all want and exactly the balance he’s weighing here. I think the team needs a little more of a kick in the butt from him at times though
  18. Shameful that southern rock opera isn’t even in honorable mentions here. Just shameful.
  19. meh. It’s not a strength to brag about but there are guys you can scheme up and we are not seeing that. diggs-Davis-harty-Kincaid-Knox-cook should be a passable group of nfl weapons for a coordinator to create weekly passing game plans for. We are not seeing that innovation or creativity in the scheme.
  20. why are we scoring in the first half? I don’t know, we talk about playing complimentary football. I’ll be honest, I want that to mean “we talk about scoring record breaking points with our elite qb” instead of talking about avoiding mistakes in all three phases
  21. yup. He didn’t need to hurdle guys 10 yards short of sticks on 3rd down, or lower the shoulder after the first… teach the guy when to slide or step out of bounds and let him do it 6-8 times a game. Sometimes even as a called play.
  22. it’s not long ago mcdermott was a defensive coordinator… and then he got Allen and is a well respected coach the mismanagement of this piece will be remembered for a long time he needed to learn how to optimize the skill not be told to stop using it
  23. they would’ve said the same watching the bills-dolphins game. I agree we are second tier but also think we could be a team that gets hot at any given time and can beat anyone i hate to say like the chargers but that might be a good comparable to peg expectations for the year- better and worse.
  24. but I think the play calling, scheming etc… goes hand in hand with the atmosphere and energy around the team. remember how the guys used to talk about daboll, or their WR coach? im not a guy that thought daboll was the greatest ever but I do generally think that the offense is missing a cohesive identity that everyone more or less buys into. I don’t think Dorsey has created that on or off the field.
  25. we aren’t playing to a lot of guys strengths. It’s scheme Issue.
