Yea. The throwing to limping Kincaid was just total lack of situational awareness for several people involved. Just glad it didn’t exacerbate a real injury.

yea. It’s a spot you expect a makeup call if anything sketchy is going to happen not the proverbial pass interference on a Hail Mary type of call to put the nail in the coffin of the drive.

I can’t think of another example of that called that way in my life. As collinsworth noted it was an option and thrown to the wrong option. No pressure. Totally reasonable read. in hundreds upon hundreds of games I can’t recall one example like that

Meh. I make few concrete statements from how teams perform in Europe. It’s asinine for a huge game to be overseas.

I don’t doubt he’s cool with stocking up the personality type a bit. the other thing that softened my adherence to that take was also 2 of the 3 positions tend to be “those type.” Ie there aren’t a ton of run stuffing DTs and goal line backs that are delicate flowers. all that said, I do think beane was super down to get some attitude in the building. Just not sure if it was a plan or a happy coincidence based on the opportunity/needs yea, beane also made the comment about DT that they had several offers out and would take whoever said yes first like a day before linval signed.

counter: if he could have traded for tackle avoiding height of his career Deion sanders he would’ve. at this point in the season strength and attitude are cheaper and more readily available than speed/skill coincidentally, we could use some attitude so it’s not bad but I don’t know if he sought that archetype as much as those are the type you can snag cheap in November

I do not think most believe he has any direct knowledge I don’t think that he’s dabbling in anything even bordering on protected. Kirk cousins calf wiggling on national tv and a guy like this saying that sure looks like an Achilles, we will see him next year isn’t particularly invasive, right? You could quickly cross into over representing what you know, or being shady… and I’ve only seen a little bit of his I have a few others in my feed that I think do this quite ethically and relatively consistently with a good bit of accuracy on the ranges of outcomes, the potential ramp up periods for production on the field based on the different possibilities etc….

haaaaate it. and in a heavy bye week for fantasy football, with 9ers, jags and lions impacted. at some point the nfl has to worry a little about fantasy football being the golden goose, not European expansion yea. which ironically we essentially did gift 3(?) times with those defensive penalties. For all intents and purposes those were turnovers. I think the realization that’s frustration is say it’s 4th and 2 for our offense vs 4th and 5 for the defense… which side do you trust to close out the game? talent says our offense. Health says our offense. Play calling makes it a complete wild card for our offense.

meh. The 3rd down call on the first drive and goal line flop on the second were ugly. Josh straight out of the medical tent straight to a naked play action bootleg? Even in the first half the coaches weren’t handling business in big moments.

I suspect they thought it was taken off him and just came down in the scuffle to grab on it? I thought the crew in NY would’ve chimed in though. Maybe letting the kicker off the hook based on position though.
