I’m normally on the train that they even out but this is about as imbalanced as I recall seeing and it’s effecting the game. We will see where it goes.

ultimately, I don’t know the college rule but in the pros it’s an interception as described. the only alternative is he survived the fall and was technically down before the ball pops out.

11/26/23 Week #12 GAMEDAY Bills at Eagles Pregame Thread
NoSaint replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m going to chalk this season up as gabe Davis getting a game ball with zero targets last week im sorry but that’s an incredible fail. I get the need for dirty work guys but it’s either ignoring the lack of production at his primary job or a total misunderstanding of what we need him to contribute. He must have at least a few catches to be rewarded for the other stuff. -

Yea, I’d tend to agree that the eagles are the bengals style matchup from last year. -
Really good game for von to become von again

yea, I think it was a medical snap count early, starting to wonder if it’s simply that he’s our 4th best edge rusher limiting his time of the field at this point -
In the future, leave out that it was youth league that you had your kids targeting knees in….
-
I hate to say it but there’s an element of hit them hard, hit them clean but make them think twice about protecting themselves the next time they run it
-
just picking favorites for the others is a fools errand. If they are a 60-40 favorite in 5 games, you’d expect a couple losses potentially, not 5-0 as an example

im curious to see if harty gets more touches and snaps. I definitely noticed the little her sweep. Not a big gainer but the type of play where continued motion and misdirection when used schematically can create challenges. instead of an isolated play, I think Brady will actually work in packages off that-obviously running off the motion, play actions, and Andy Reid likes that play where the jet starts and then at the snap whips back to where they came from which is challenging on the fly. im optimistic this will be the start of scheming more than individual plays and guys like harty will ramp up.

said it all off-season… his ability down the stretch was likely the gap between Super Bowl contender vs playoff contender. I don’t think that’s far off still. An added game wrecker off the edge makes the next 6 weeks much more manageable than it would be in his absence my only concern was duration at his age. It would’ve been nice to get a second contract guy instead of a third contract guy if going all in on someone

it’s hard to do anything substantial in a normal week yet alone short ones coming off MNF. that the situational awareness and game flow improvement is all you could hope for and it did. He’s not reworking the playbook with the team at Wednesday practice

Breaking: Jets QB Zach Wilson being benched for Tim Boyle
NoSaint replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
it lets Rodgers be a distraction and buys some hope out of the roster. It’s more coachspeak than reality in my opinion -
he wasn’t up even in the celebrations recently though. Love or hate the low positive, his demeanor was a little less leashed yesterday- even if not as dramatic as some are portraying
-
there was that one play where he was practically 15 yards past the qb and then stopped…. But the qb started dancing. I swear he was so far out of the play the qb forgot him and Von could’ve had the biggest blindside sack of his career if he hadn’t fully stopped. I would’ve worried for the qbs health with a guy getting a clean 10-15 yard run at his back totally unexpected unfortunately the way to get to who he was is to suffer a bit through what he is

I’m trying not to confuse process with results, and be starstruck by the points but it did feel like the motion, personnel and formations were more purposeful pre snap leading to the “easy button” plays post snap there really weren’t the shotgun runs on and 1 situations or the outs to harty with time expiring. In fact they ran that little underneath sweep to him? Wasn’t a big gainer but again the type of play that feels like he was running a scheme and not a random collection of plays.

We need to save Josh Allen by any means necessary (the fire is gone)

It was nice to see him medium-high positive a few times today -
Obviously the turnovers were huge but he’s played solid all around. handful of guys have punched above their weight this year. Curious to see how everyone holds up against Philly more than anything.
-
Von could’ve WRECKED him if he didn’t stop on the play
-
more screens, more motion, the little underneath handoff… and 16 first half points against our kryptonite ill take it.
-
They weren’t kicking a 64 yarder into the wind
-
yea I really don’t get it. I guess lineup see coverage and if they don’t blow it completely he runs? seems like THAT is the meaningless punishment that should be avoided
-
meh. I suspect going for it was better but going up 9 isn’t bad either.
-
because not taking any shots also leaves you vulnerable to turnovers? Need to keep to playbook open to keep the defense honest
-
Screens, motion…. If not for diggs I’d say the offense looks downright crisp. Will need to take a shot at some point but seems bordering on cohesive scheme instead of random plays

Singletary & Moss both look much better on new teams
NoSaint replied to Chicagobills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea, singletary had productive games here. I’m not racing to pay the guy.
