    It’ll sound snarky but a genuine point here— there are very few fans on this board that have closely watched a successful team week in and week out, year in and year out, in the salary cap era. Most are so used to hearing they can’t afford talented players, when the truth is that this is a league where you need a few explosive stars to even start to compete consistently.

    There’s absolutely no reason this needed to be a multi year rebuild. Fans went hook line and sinker on a narrative about how bad the cap was.... we now also believe that every young talent was a cancer... it’s ridiculous.

    Hes following the philosophy if he can audible. The problem is our head coach and OC are ok with this philosophy

    Maybe he just dislikes you and uses mocking you as a way to vent his frustration with the losses. Wouldn’t mean he wants them to lose.

    It’s more than one game. This is twice he’s led the offense to 3 points this year. And not all those other games were good either. hes not the worst starting qb but if he’s better than average it’s merely because of the volume of injuries. It’s hard to win in the nfl without better than average qb play.

    Fans definitely should’ve shanked him. Where’s mrags or Cletus when you need them?

    And I’d argue that his lack of passing created many of the issues on the OL. if you don’t have to defend more than 10 yards of dirt, you can really beat up the line.

    Also, at some point you have to just decide you are going to play the game and throw the ball. If you aren’t when down several scores in the second half, I don’t know what to say

    When he took the sack on 3rd and 15 down 30 points instead of heaving it down field for whatever may happen— that was his Kyle Orton slide short of the sticks, his Edwards run out of bounds on 4th moment... he showed no fire or or situational awareness.

    That the game got out of hand only makes his stat line all the more baffling. Qbs rack up trash yards in a route. I would’ve rather seen 250 yards and 3 ints trying to get in the game again than whatever we just watched. Down 30 playing ball control keep it close and try not to make a mistake football is a joke

    It’ll be worse - 8-8. We will win 1 or 2 that make us say “how did we look that bad in November”

    Until he’s doing it with cam Jordan bearing down on him and into a tight window against lattimore... you may as well be looking at practice or preseason. There was also no situational pressure.

    At least peterman got s confidence booster but it was otherwise not meaningful in evaluating him

    To be fair, think the saints might be coasting a bit? Maybe you’d see different coverage in a single score margin?

    Now we get to hear about how good peterman looked against the saints prevent/don’t get hurt defense

    Top ten isn’t a tank. To get the top qb from picks 8-10 takes all those extra picks. We look to have both gutted our young talent and played our way into having to choose between replacing those guys in the draft or actually getting our choice of qb.

    This is might be worse than the wannstache “fit it up” game against the niners. I know that was historic but this is awful

    Literally anything decisive is better than the sack. Heave it 50 yards blindfolded and pray is a better strategy on 3rd and Long facing that blitz at this point. Taking the sack is unacceptable
