If tvey come out flat because of this they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. -
Bills' Fan Creates GoFundMe Page to Have Tolbert Cut

Its true it’s not a rare skill set. I’d venture cadet is 3rd in that group and it took us half a season to even get that though. That it’s not a challenge to find a decent RB2 and that we were built to be a running team makes it all the more disappointing that we rolled into the season with the depth chart we did -
I’ll push on “similar” here— post their YPC and TD per target stats and see how similar they look. roll in Sammy facing the double teams, and having a lot of other options to target on the team.... well, I’d venture if Sammy lined up across from green the gap between he and lefell only widens
-
While a valid concern... he’s not been awful outside one major injury that followed a predictable, albeit it slow, timeline also, when he’s out- someone steps up and plays and has production in his spot. So I’d argue Sammy producing that in 10 games plus whatever his backup does for 6 is better than lafell producing what he does in 16. Is rather be very good for a portion than mediocre the whole way.

40 fewer catches but more yards and TDs sure does point to Sammy being a different type of player.

That you are talking football moves is irrelevant to that play, and shows only a marginal understanding of catch rules. I don’t mean to be rude, but you are wrong there. When going to the ground he can do whatever moves you want- he hasn’t completed the catch til he lands and maintained control. That it hit hit the ground by itself isn’t an issue but that it hit the ground and moved is an issue.

I’ve said I get the call but probably not to the standard to overturn it. I also stand by that going off what a guy that was uninvolved said to get the coach off his back isn’t all that insightful. It’s not his call, he likely didn’t have a good view, and there’s little reason for him to hash out the reasoning on the sideline after the fact. “I don’t know” is an easy “we’re moving on” answer. Holding this up as a clear indictment of the situation is not all that convincing.

The steelers call was not sketchy. It was very much by the book. A few of those were questionable, and a few im not familiar with. Lumping the Steelers call into this is a disservice to the discussion though. If he’s away from the play and not the review official — his eyes were how far away? And had what angle at the feet? And were responsible for how many other calls on the play? this clip adds drama but limited substance

Should we replace Tolbert with Frank Gore?

Vet minimum gets subsidized in the cap (napkin notes but pay a million but only count 600k, to keep the vet minimum from phasing guys out of the league) -
I don’t think I could handle the Jax game

Terry Pegula: "We Have to Fix Replay"
NoSaint replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its a fine that would be peanuts to him. If he thinks it’s a huge deal and he could be impactful I’d hope the money wouldn’t change his mind. -

Where I think we need to do better to be impactful is to avoid harping in calls that were right (like Pittsburgh) as it dilutes the argument immensely If he feels strongly- draw a fine. Why not? -
Browns could pass on Rosen given his desire to go to NYG
NoSaint replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea, heaven forbid a guy prefers a situation that maximizes his odds of success at the toughest position for even talented guys to succeed at. Should prefer the longest odds possible if hes a real competitor that said- the browns can play the “who knows” game til he declares but they can’t care whether he likes them on draft day. If he’s #1on their board you take him -
Should the NFL start firing referees who make bad calls?
NoSaint replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bingo. which clearly ends up meaning that sooner rather than later you are going to burn through the talent in the pool and be stuck with any joe. Acting like it’s impossible to be any worse is dramatic and attention seeking. That’s not to say it’s perfect but it’s not near as bad as some portray -

How big of a call does it have to be in your system? also, my point still stands. What if generally we already have the right guys and the quality goes down? -
[Misleading Title]Conclusive evidence it was not a catch.
NoSaint replied to Bash_Gash's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well I’ll I didn’t see it live and only caught a little of the explanation when i I watched it initially I thought that his foot came up and then went back down based on that justification. I’d assume that’s what the ref saw too but I’m not promising that’s the same process they used. i probably wouldn’t have overturned it but based on the replay I thought that it most likely came up -

What happens if you find you’ve fired the guys that are legitimately the best options and are replacing them with lesser skilled referees? -
Texans @ Steelers/Raiders @ Eagles

Starting a thread for every questionable call Will certainly make watching more enjoyable -

Still frame seems obvious but what’s the jerky movement his foot makes when it hits out of bounds? I’m guessing that’s what made the call (agree or disagree - I’m just speculating on the process) -
I don’t doubt that in part it’s the idea of Jordan rules where the stars get benefit of the doubt. But its likewise in part this psychological issue: name the 5 worst calls against the bills. now name the 5 worst that we benefited from. You can ask the same of any teams fans. You’ll get a list of 38 times they were screwed and struggle to get any times they got a break.
