I think we have a good regular season group. I think we will have challenges in January when the coverage gets tighter, and late in games in January when the corners get away with more contact. think fitz. Totally fine qb in the second quarter. Not the guy in the final two minutes.

yea, it’s an interesting stat but can be terribly misleading offense A gets 8 possessions gets to the red zone twice, kicks a fg from the 15 and qb tosses a td from the 2 offense b gets 8 touches and in the red zone 6 times, and has 4 td and a fg but passing from the 2 is 0-2 and one of those is a pick clearly you’d love offense b and not even blink. The sample size is growing on passes inside the 3 and I think it’s a bit of play design, a bit of wr skill set and also Josh not being quite as precise as third on the list…. But there’s a difference between a problem, and simply a spot to give some extra practice reps. I do think this is a spot Brady will excel with scheming matchups with formation and motion in a way that Dorsey struggled. I also think dalton, Coleman and Samuel each fit that niche better than Gabe-diggs-Knox

they are top 5? 10? In the red zone. It’s a pretty specific sliver they are struggling from. id rather be great in the red zone with a hole passing from the goal line than terrible in the red zone and decent at the 1

it’s the challenge with around the league knowledge being stars and highlight reels. Very good players with those flubs look much worse than they really are compared to peers. we know cooks every miss but only see breece highlights

He will be a very good player for us. Samuel will steal some of the out of the backfield pass catching from him (see deebo)

we use the phrase game of inches all the time but at qb it really comes down to tiny margins on a handful of plays each game. The gap between someone like dak or cousins and say Fitzpatrick isn’t huge and fits to guys that never see the field is a sliver again

yea, but if he has any desire to come back it does him no favors to go beyond super high level feedback or to remain mostly positive. if he’s totally done in the nfl, it could be a lot more interesting

yea the only question will be how real he’s willing to get with it. On the surface, great concept though,

prototypical WRs? tyreek, diggs, Wilson, lamb, Adams, brown, Jefferson, chase, Moore, Evans, aiyuk, Amon ra, DK, waddle… the rookies this year are very prototypical not sure how deep you want to go with impact WRs…. Nico, Pittman, Devonta, Higgins, Hopkins etc…

my hope is that just making the playoffs will also be a footnote when this Allen story is all done. lets all keep fingers crossed that the last 5 years are the low point and not the high point of the decade. If Allen walks out with 2 rings, and a bunch of iconic moments- an mvp- I don’t think we will be in canton talking about diggs as more than a passing comment. if Josh has peeked and has a sudden drop, yea, diggs will occupy more space in the story

he’s going to be more TO than reed in the memories. He was a hired gun for a short stretch not guy that bled team colors. doesn’t mean he’s disliked, he’s just a footnote in the family history and not the main story.

the unfortunate truth: they are a bit of a crapshoot after the initial high end guys in the class. It speaks to Keon not being a slam dunk star- though I think he will be relatively productive
