  1. Please oh please let him stay healthy this season.....
  2. great post. Kind of sums up our situation perfectly. Those that have followed the career of Drew Brees have seen the development take place. Its very rare that a quarterback steps off the collegiate playing field and has success in the NFL day one.
  3. That is a great observation.....
  4. and he seems to be dealing with injuries........
  5. Bravo, great comments. I think we lucked out in getting Brohm. If Greenbay decided to keep three quarterbacks on the roster like just about every other team he would not be a Bill today. I don't care who you are, playing quarterback in the NFL out of college is tough. You have a lot to learn and experience. I am excited we have him on the Bills and feel he has the POTENTIAL to do great things for our team.
  6. I caught that too. pretty S^*)(* comment.
  7. That is a good of reason as I have ever heard on this board.
  8. Great read. Thanks for posting. I am willing to give a guy the benefit of the doubt. His play will say it all.
  9. Good for JP. I wish him luck.
  10. I am reminded of the old joke of the two kids, one a pessimist, one an optimist. In a barn full of toys the pessimist is always complaining about all the stupid toys. In a barn full of horse manure, the optimist is busily digging looking for the pony. Let's face it, we don't have Peyton Manning. But I think the talent we have, especially with Gailey as coach, we will find our pony.
  11. I wish you and your jersey a long life!
  12. We came in third in "The most snakebitten teams in the NFL". http://bleacherreport.com/articles/393642-...anchises#page/5 Sometimes I feel the Bills are the Rodney Dangerfield of the NFL...
  13. We have all learned talent from the draft is not proven. Some players work and others don't. I think the Bills woud be smart to deal for Gaither.
  14. Where do I go to buy season tickets?
  15. I'll join the optimists club. Its way more fun than predicting doom and gloom.
  16. NOW THAT WOULD BE FUN TO WATCH!
  17. In my mind he is in the recycle bin. He would still be at Green Bay if they carried three on the roster for quarterback just like every other team. Remember, Green Bay tried to counter offer. It was Brohm's decision to split. So call him trash if you like. I happen to think he is salvageable.
  18. We also will not have a coach that looks like a deer in the headlights.
  19. Best explanation ever....
  20. I am dubious of any post quoting a poet.
  21. What was this about? We looking for tackling dummies at practice?
  22. "ONLY FOOTBALL"!!!!!!! Never use those two words together. At least not in that order. "Football Only" is OK. Other than that I think we will be OK as well.
  23. I would only go after him if he was willing to agree to a performance based contract. No multi-million then sit on your butt agreements here. If he will not put his money (and performance) where is mouth is then I say we pass.
  24. 30octavefart rocks.... That was hilarious.
  25. My biggest concerns about Edwards is his history with concussions. They are not something to be taken lightly. He has suffered them in college and with the Bills. I am not a doctor but I have heard that once they occur, there is an increasing likelihood that they will reoccur. You could have Godzilla on the O line, but if someone sneaks through for a sack, you could loose him for the year. I think his quickness to drop the ball off was a reflection of his concerns about that as well.
