  1. Good post. You hit the nail on the head...
  2. Let's play Marty Ball!! At least he will get us into the playoffs!! He is still younger than Nix...
  3. Don't worry Chan, you'll find another job in the NCAA.
  4. Well Buddy likes to draft from the south east... My guess is AJ McCarron (if he comes out for the draft) from Alabama or EJ Manuel from Florida State. Other possibilities are Tyler Wilson from Arkansas or Tyler Bray from Tennessee. Don't expect Matt Barkley from USC.
  5. I absolutely agree with you. Spiller is not Marshawn "beast mode" Lynch. He is not a jam it up the middle back. He is an open field speed runner. It was a bad call by Gailey.
  6. First signs of dementia if you ask me...
  7. All my hope for this season, heightened by the great draft and the deal with Mario has been stomped flat. It is one thing to lose to a team by a touchdown or field goal, but to be trounced by the Jets and Pats is just too much. To blow what should have been a 3 touchdown lead over the Pats at half time was simply disgusting. Who decided to send Spiller (Who has a sore shoulder) into a pack of Patriot's defenders on the goal line? No wonder he fumbled. Spiller is not Marshawn Lynch. He does not play that way. The great offensive mind of Chan Gailey just was not working well I guess. The hype about our defense, Super Mario and the great defensive mind of Wanny is also smoke and mirrors. Our coaches have shown they do not know how to respond to the changing conditions of the game. There is no flexibility, no desire, no passion. The coaches look like deers in the headlights of an approaching truck. As a result we get blown out. Worse, players get injured. The Bills are about to face the 49er's (3-1), Airizona (4-0), and Tennessee (1-3) before the bye. My bet is we are 2-5 by then. Sorry for the venom, just heartbroken...
  8. Farted just before the end of the half. Cast a pall over the entire rest of the game..
  9. The worst part is we get to hear the sports press gush about Brady, Brady, Brady and what a genius coach Belichick is....
  10. If we can't win in our own division we will never make the playoffs. We were not just beaten we were humiliated. Once again we see good players fall to the wayside due to injuries. The problem is and has been coaching...simple as that. When a team falls apart like we just did that is where the finger needs to be pointed. Chan, the alleged offensive genius, has shown us nothing. He is not current, flexible or capable of changing things in response to situations on the field. Wanny is pathetic.
  11. Its all part of the Brady-Bellichik love fest that we are subject to every day on the sports news... It's analagous to the old Brady Bunch TV show.... Instead of Marsha, Marsha, Marsha.... it's Brady, Brady, Brady...
  12. I like this idea!!
  13. I am glad Poz is having success with his new team...
  14. Seattle Gaff This is good!!!
  15. Ahmen..I was pretty up on Fritz during the preseason and training camp. Then came that disaster of a Jet's game. He was much better the last two games but there is still room for improvement. Right now I have very mixed feelings. The next several games will tell the tale. Can he cut it or not. I really hope for the best but have to admit I am nervous.
  16. You are a little late on the capitalist takeover of the internet. Ever hear of Amazon? iTunes? Buy.com? Bottom line is that they have a staff to pay. Pay comes from that nasty word profits. Clearly their printed circulation is suffering, so they opt for a pain subscription like the New York Times, Barrons, Wall Street Journal...etc. If you want to read their pearls of wisdom it will now cost you a few pennies. Or you can live without...
  17. I was stunned at the call....
  18. I understand your point but have to say that Choice had a great game after Spiller went down. He impressed me.
  19. You are right. Fritz's play during the Jet's game was pathetic and colored my view of him. I was willing to buy into the story of the cracked rib as the reason his play suffered toward the end of last year. Then there were the stories of this great quarterback coach fixing Fritz's mechanics. But the humiliation that was the jet's game showed that was all BS. I hope he proves us all wrong as the season progresses. But it is doubtful.
  20. I was disappointed when we did not take Glenn with the first pick! Could not believe we were lucky enough to get him in the second.
  21. Every business, and football is no exception, want and need results. The Bills are not going to sell seats, merchandise, whatever if they continue to lose. The Bills have the longest streak of not getting into the playoffs of any team in the league. It is time to put a winning tam on the field. Yes things have improved but results are the only things that matter.... In regards to how long it takes to turn around a team, just look at the 49'ers. Which reminds me of a joke. What separates the best team in the NFL from the worst team? The Bay bridge.....
  22. I am with you on this one. Crappy or not the Browns have our number in the last several games. This is not a slam dunk.
  23. The Browns have had the Bill's number for several years now. This will be a tough age, make no mistake.
  24. Fitz has had a particular style or method of play his entire professional life. Along comes a new quarterback coach, David Lee, who is attempting to change the bad and replace it with the good. This is going to be tough to do because old habits take a while to die off. It's like correcting a golf swing. You over think everything you are being told; i.e. position of hands, balance, etc. etc. and shank your drive into the weeds. So much for lessons. It is my hope we will see improvements in Fritz's play over time. The question is how much time will be required.
