  2. I know football season is around the bend when my Direct TV bill increases...
  3. EBall I love your analysis. However I remain concerned that we fall apart in the Red zone. I am also worried that EJ is not capable of throwing a ball on the run.
  4. I would love to see us give Tebow a shot. At this point there can only be upside..
  5. I am with you on that...
  6. Yoga and Brazilian Jujitsu... If that is his prep maybe others should try it...
  7. Tuel was a non-drafted free agent. So we know right away he is not Manning or Luck. Still there is something in him that the coaching staff likes. He has come back with a stronger arm this season which is a plus. He seems to be decisive and flexible. We have seen him in one preseason game. Let's give him a break and see what develops. What other options do we have?
  8. EJ not looking great at all.
  9. It is such nonsense. Busted for weed of all things. Heck you can buy all you want in Colorado or Washington.
  10. Superbowl 27... Bills 17 Dallas 52... We scored the first touchdown. Kelly went out with a knee injury. Downhill after that. I was there and felt the pain.
  11. A player has only so many years to play so I do not blame them when they try to do everything they can to make more money. That said I think the Saints overpaid for Byrd. He is good, but his health issues will affect both playing time and performance. If he remained a Bill, the chat rooms would be full of complaints saying how we overpaid for a physical basket case.
  12. My though exactly... that is the only answer.
  13. Many players, Hughes included, just need a change of venue to get their careers back on track. My hat is off to Whaley on this..
  14. You have got to be kidding me?!! Can't this team get a break from the injury bug?
  15. I am happy for Fitz and wish him the best.
  16. I have run into all sorts of ex-players from all sorts of teams. Some in real estate, some in banking, some in other businesses to numerous to mention. Being an-ex professional athlete is no guarantee of future success but all seem to be doing well. If I recognize them I will acknowledge them and let them know I enjoyed watching them play. All have been gracious and for all of them you still see a twinkle in their eye in discussing their past. My most memorable was running into Willie O'Ree of NHL fame at a local restaurant and Joe Namath and Lance Allworth at a local grocery store. Since I have trouble walking and chewing gum at the same time I have to admit to being a little star struck. I have always looked up to the guys who make it into the pros regardless of sport, regardless of how long they have played. It takes a lot of determination, dedication and ability to compete at that level. I respect that.
  17. Sully is a total tool. His M.O. is to write controversial pieces. That's how he gets attention. Dareus was busted for speeding in Alabama and was found with "artificial weed". In Alabama its a felony? In Colorado they would laugh. Now in Hamburg he is caught drag racing. Caused a little damage. These are not the acts of a thug or brazen criminal. The guy likes fast cars....
  18. Dareus is guilty of two things: being caught with artificial weed in Alabama, and drag racing in Hamburg that unfortunately caused some property damage. In the category of major crimes, these two really don't even warrant a blip on a radar scope. I honestly do not know one young guy who hasn't done both at one time or another. Dareus is a young man who is a little immature for his age. He probably has a little too much money and fame for his own good. I think Marrone recognizes this and is willing to try and guide Dareus in a hope to mature him. Marrone also wants to win games and realizes that Dareus is a talent. He is just an immature talent. Marrone will hep to the extent that he can but he can do little more than talk and try to reason with the kid. Maybe he will even team Dareus up with a more mature team mate. But Marrone can not control Dareus or his actions. Let's face it, fans want Marrone running the team, not wet nursing a player no matter who he is. The decision for Marrone is performance on the field vs. performance off the field. If the balance tilts to the point that Dareus' antics become a bigger problem than his contribution to the team Dareus will be history.
  19. Sweet home Alabama. sigh....
  20. At $2 Billion its about buying a toy to play with, not getting a return on the investment.
  21. Backs are tricky things.. all I know is that we would be doing a lot of head banging if we paid him ga-jillions to stay.
  22. Just saw this posted on NFL.com http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000353914/article/mario-williams-kiko-alonso-of-bills-had-hip-surgeries?campaign=Twitter_atl Mario and Kiko both had hip surgery! Robert Woods an ankle procedure. Here is the rest of the list: Edge rusher Jerry Hughes (shoulder), cornerback Stephon Gilmore (hip), cornerback Leodis McKelvin (hip), tight end Scott Chandler (knee) and wide receiver Marcus Easley (knee) all went under the knife after the season, according to Mark Gaughan of The Buffalo News. Safety Aaron Williams (shoulder) and wide receiver T.J. Graham(hip) are also recovering from surgeries, per ESPN.com's Mike Rodak. Count them folks...ten starters. Is this a problem with trainers or just bad luck?
  23. One more point.. Trump can play the media like a violin. He will definitely increase the Bill's media presence.
