  1. Man, with all the Chicken Littles out there right now, tomorrow night’s game can’t come soon enough!
  2. If one believes the Bills have actually gotten better too, in theory they could have even fewer one score games. Let’s say they have four this year, go 2-2 in those, and then have one random big loss, 14-3 would be the result. I know this is very simplified and ignores their actual matchups, but seems possible with their recent level of play.
  3. So that’s why Tua always suck against us…because he ANTICIPATES getting his assed kicked by us very well 😎
  4. Your Fox single chart appears to be the same as the CBS Late…
  5. We will see. I’m not sure he will be what he’s been, as guys typically don’t get faster as they get older. Not to mention the league figures out how to stop a given offense, so if that offense doesn’t evolve, staying what they’ve been isn’t necessarily good enough. I do agree that Harbaugh has proven to be a solid coach, think they’re just in a very competitive division this year too.
  6. JK Dobbins is still recovering from an ACL injury, and Lamar has not shown he cannot take the next step as a QB yet, beyond heavily relying on his running abilities. I already think Cincy is better than BAL, CLE arguably has just as talented a roster, and Tomlin’s already showing his team isn’t going to go down w/o a fight. Lamar needs to take the next step in his career this season, and I’m not sure that he will.
  7. How are they “still king”? They didn’t even make it to the Super Bowl last year.
  8. Prime time Josh is becoming reminiscent of guys like Jordan or LeBron. Stars that could just take over their respective sports and play at superhuman levels. Must-see TV. So awesome we have Josh leading our team.
  9. If the Ravens finished last in their division, I would not be surprised.
  10. He does get limited. He only had 5 regular season games last year with over 80 yards. Just b/c he put up a lot of yards yesterday doesn’t mean teams don’t game plan for him and limit his yards.
  11. To talk odds, even if you gave the Bills a 90% chance to win each of their remaining 19 games (which is extremely generous), the chance they win every single one is 13.5%. Lower that to 80%, and odds drop to 1.4%. So, there’s always a “chance”, but just want to put this in perspective for some. That’s why we should take it one at a time 😎
  12. Just wait til Von sees the crowd next Monday night, he definitely won’t be blinking then!
  13. Going full McDermott mode and going to say let’s just win the next game first LOL
  14. Love what we saw from the team the other night, and the fact that Benford has earned playing time already. There is lots of upside with our corners unit. With that said, I think it’s a little early to say we have one of the strongest corner units in the league. The D-line was playing lights out the other night, we have two all-Pro safeties too, and the Rams might still be working through some things offensively. Plus, I’m optimistic Tre will come back from the injury successfully, but it’s possible he isn’t 100% the same as pre-injury. For me, this unit has a lot still to prove, before anointing them one of the strongest in the league.
  15. Seems feasible. I’m sure the RB coach discusses preferences for different packages with the other coaches, and if someone fumbles like Cook, maybe have a standard protocol to allow the player to reset and/or McDermott or Dorsey just call that shot during the game.
  16. Right, his logic makes no sense. Guess that’s why he’s writing for the Boston Globe.
  17. The Bills win the Super Bowl, and some will still complain that we should have won it sooner.
  18. I think Josh also showed why coming to the Bills was such a smart career move for Von, as he vastly outplayed Stafford. Von going to win more games and be playing with larger leads, meaning more chances to sack the QB. Perfect situation for Von and the Bills.
  19. Definitely doesn’t guarantee anything past this year, but keeps Jordan happy and focused on at least the rest of this season. Moves like this shows others that Beane will take care of performers, as well.
  20. While not the perfect comparison as you’ve acknowledged, that same thought actually crossed my mind last night too. Definitely can see the similarities.
