  1. Well by your logic, Diggs isn’t a #1 WR because of where he was drafted, and Tom Brady is a throw away too.
  2. How do you explain almost losing to Baltimore then? My point is that we are likely to come up against some other challenge in the last 11 games of the season and lose. Are you thinking we win out after Green Bay?
  3. Okay, and did you pick them to almost lose to Baltimore? Or to lose to Jacksonville last year? Yes, they could win every game that remains on their schedule. Even with as good as they can be, the odds show it is more unlikely than likely, though. With that said, let’s win this weekend and it should be a fun ride!
  4. Even if you give them a 90% chance to win each of those games (which is likely aggressive), then there’s only a 31% chance that they don’t lose any of them. Drop the 90% to 85%, then the chance of winning 11 in a row is 17%. After the Bills trounced the Titans, would you have thought they’d go into Miami and lay an egg? They almost lost the next week again at the Ravens! Yes, they can be dominant, but there’s many games on the remaining schedule that they can also lose.
  5. Love that the Chiefs have one less day of rest than us, they should have a tougher matchup tomorrow than we just had, and think our DL/LBs are going to create havoc for the Chiefs offense next week. Is this thing on?!
  6. So WRs today are Diggs, Davis, Shakir…Hodgins get the call up and who else?
  7. Kevin Harlan’s streaker call was pretty good. “Pull up your pants, take off the bra, and be a man!”
  8. I’d say either Beane snuffed out a mole in the building, OR they’d need to be trading for a potential RB stud with more than one year left on their rookie deal. The Bills would need to be really high on someone like Najee or Etienne, and then maybe they’d toss in someone like Moss in the deal. No way should they trade a first round pick for an RB in the last year of a contract.
  9. Seems like the guy’s publicity stunt is certainly drawing the attention he wanted!
  10. Do we even really have an offensive problem? We’re 5th in the league in scoring, 3rd in yards, fewest punts in the NFL, etc. This includes playing in the rain one game, a sauna another, starters playing less than three quarters in another. They can pass all day for all I care, it’s more exciting anyway! At this point, my biggest concern is the team staying healthy.
  11. One funny part about this thread is that the subject line and OP’s comments aren’t even one in the same. Subject line asks whether we’re concerned about Elam (after his first game), OP then comments on us having been able to select a backfield starter at that spot in the draft. Elam could become all-pro, alleviating any concerns about his abilities as a CB, and some are still going to argue that we should have taken an all-pro RB instead. The debate on the latter may never end, and the subject line isn’t even aligned with that debate.
  12. Should be able to beat Pit pretty convincingly. KC game essentially a battle for the top seed in the AFC. If we are 5-1 going into the bye, we should be feeling on top of the world, having weathered all of these storms and early season battles.
  13. Looks like Beane/McD have played this right so far. We won 3 out of the first 4 games w/o Tre, and we dominated the Miami game w/o him as well. Whether they play him or not against Pit, keeping the fingers crossed that he’ll be ready for the KC game.
  14. This and it’s almost like he also has a real D Line in front of him now too. How much was he compensating for an average at best D Line in past seasons?
  15. 😂😂😂 We already know you were missing that losing feeling! I’ll def be annoyed if we lose, probably looking for an excuse like injuries or weather.
