The scary part is that aside from the vets and players in their prime, they have several high potential young players on this team that have room to keep improving throughout the season too. They’re so balanced and talented on both offense and defense that I think they’re going from challenging, competitive practices to games where the opposing teams aren’t as tough as what they face in practice. Imagine facing Josh Allen in practice to Kenny Pickett on Sunday, and vice versa for the offense. Sundays may be easier than practice. The phrase iron sharpens iron comes to mind.
