The fact they made this move today, does anyone else think this means if they had landed a certain Edge prospect early in this year’s draft, they may not have actually picked up the 5th year option? I know the deadline is 5/2, but seems like they were potentially not going to pick up depending on the draft?

They say if you are a 7 foot tall male, you have like a 1 in 10 chance of making the NBA. Versus a 6 foot tall male, 1 in like 10 million. Crazy how much athletic measurables alone factor into things.

I agree from the perspective that this regime has been holding on to a large cohort of veterans for several years now, and they finally needed to rip that band-aid off to find much younger blood for this squad. If it goes horribly this season, could be an indictment that Beane and/or McD will not be the ones to take this team to the next level. I’m holding out hope they know what they’re doing though, and will successfully transition this team to even better days.

What is his 60-yard dash time? 40-yards is a little irrelevant when Josh is the QB.

I think Kincaid becomes Josh’s first look frequently next season, plus guys like Samuel and Shakir. When Josh needs a checkdown, he’ll have his RBs. And when it’s just a complete play breakdown and Josh is scrambling, that’s where I think Coleman will be at his best. From what Coleman said in his press conference plus looking at his highlights, that’s where I think he adds a different dimension for this team.

K Diggz. Everybody needs to keep in mind, he is still almost as young as Edmunds.

Agree about Jackson, wouldn’t put my money on the Ravens ever.

Ravens had best record in AFC last season and made the AFCCG. They’ve seemingly had a good offseason too, whereas we’ve cut a lot of vets and have a lot more unknowns heading into next season. Totally reasonable for Ravens to have lower odds, even though we could be just as good as them or better when games start getting played.

Josh going to make this guy look like Eric Moulds. And Coleman leaps over guys like Josh too.

Josh isn’t going to tell anyone to F off. He’s going to prove this year that his was the bigger reason for Diggs’ success, much like many other receivers that have had their best years playing with Josh. MVP-caliber season ahead.

Thinking it won’t be WR for us, if we stick at 33. Prob had an another team make an offer for pick 32, Beane called Carolina and said someone else trying to get a WR too. Think Beane and McD are in love w/Dejean and knew they could still have him at 33, bc Carolina was going WR.
