More reason to think they’re going to figure out a way to trade Diggs and move up in this year’s draft? Would at least start to address cap space for next year, plus potentially give Josh a younger WR stud to be throwing to.

We’d only need to trade all of this years draft picks, some of next years picks, and Diggs. Seems like a fair price for us 😆

Weird, the video he’s got MHJ at 3, Odunze at 4? But yeah, even outside his top 5, there’s like 5-7 other WR prospects with decent upside. I’d love it one of the studs slips into the teens, and Beane finds a way for us to trade into there, even if it means having traded Diggs and a couple other picks. If we hold onto Diggs, still want Beane to take a flier on one of the better rated prospects. Need to get faster, younger and cheaper at WR position.

Making a couple million more and getting to play in Florida is a nice early retirement package for him too. Lots of respect for what Poyer brought to the franchise and looks like he continues to be a class act.

How high are folks thinking Brian Thomas Jr is going to go? If I can trade Diggs and swap 1sts with a team that can position me to get Thomas, I’m doing it. This guy has the physical skills between like Randy Moss and TO/DK Metcalf.

Agree here. They’re already going to take a $10M cap hit, right? If they’d be willing to pay him $4M/year off the street now, they could have said you know, you’re scheduled to make $16M next season, we need to ask you to take a $2M pay cut. The numbers and his future with the team prob just didn’t make sense to both parties anymore.

If that were going to happen, think they would have figured out a way to restructure. Essentially the Bills figured the cap savings ($6M?) and open roster spot were worth it, versus the two parties figuring out a way to restructure.

Good thing they have the real league MVP in Brock Purdy to help them overcome that setback
