  1. My impression is they had hope that removing the knee brace would kick start things. And he did show a couple sparks after taking the brace off, but obviously it was still way below an acceptable level of performance.
  2. Funny thing, I had a dream last night about a Von sack this weekend. But, probably just that, as I don’t see him being activated again this week.
  3. You sure it was an old lady?
  4. I get the Eli comp bc of the two Super Bowls, although Eli threw for a lot more TDs and Yards in his career. After looking at the stats, maybe it’s not THAT crazy to at least have the conversation, but I think the better comps for Flacco from a straight passing stats perspective are guys like McNabb and Bledsoe. Granted those guys did not win SBs, but I would still put Flacco at a level below Eli because of the aforementioned stats.
  5. I found it hilarious one Miami fan saying he sold his tickets a few weeks back, figuring he’d use the money on a home playoff game. I think this game already had a lot of Bills fans coming down for a winter getaway. Now add in the fact that the division is on the line and the Bills have all the momentum, I’m envisioning Bills fans just piling onto an already huge Bills crowd. And for the serious Miami fans, it must be so demoralizing.
  6. What would be your reasoning that he is a HOF QB? Just the fact that he has two SB rings and was the starting QB for both teams?
  7. I think the poor weather won’t help the Ravens put in extra effort, but we will see 😎….
  8. I played competitive sports, but never on a wet field where the game had no implications or where my financial livelihood depended on future games. And I know professional athletes are as competitive as they come. But if I need to make a “business decision” of tackling Najee Harris versus just being ready for the playoffs, it just wouldn’t surprise me if the Steelers roll over the Ravens on Saturday. I’d agree they can’t just let the Steelers pummel them and put themselves in compromising positions, but that extra effort to make a play or tackle may be lacking.
  9. I’d say in this case, it probably helps the Steelers. They have a lot more on the line, so maybe more willing to lay it out there whereas Ravens might not want to risk injury in the poor conditions. Ravens coaches might even tell their players as much…
  10. Labatts and chicken wings from Fri night thru Sun night are my plan to get acclimated to South Florida.
  11. Tre gonna need to take a pay cut whether he stays here or not. I’m hopeful they can work something out to give him another shot while here. He’s been a great fit for this fanbase and organization from day 1.
  12. They’re talking on ESPN right now how if somehow Flacco won the Browns a Super Bowl, he should be in the HOF conversation. What a joke! I really would like to see this go up in flames for the Browns in the playoffs.
  13. It makes a ton of sense for Baltimore to rest key guys. With that said, totally agree with you, that they could still beat the Steelers. Especially, the guys playing might be more loose, since the game doesn’t have playoff implications for them. If you even give their backups a 15% chance of winning, and then Titans a 30% chance against the Jags, there’s a 40% chance at least one of those teams are going to win. So, not impossible to think the Bills will have clinched a WC spot before Sunday night.
  14. If only we had all chipped in for an ashtray too!
  15. @chongli You always do an excellent job getting me worried about whoever is refereeing our next game lol
  16. Glad to hear everyone is safe. Not a Tyreek fan and don’t know the circumstances, could even crack a joke, but I can’t imagine the feeling of my house burning down.
  17. I love the guys’ hands and how fluid he looks out there. The other TEs you’re comparing him against are their team’s main TEs, right? Kincaid has been sharing snaps with Knox, so there’s that. The biggest thing that I think is holding Kincaid back from the next level is his strength. Guy definitely could use the first full offseason bulking up a little. If he can, I think this guy could take some huge steps in year two, via increased snaps and better production when thrown to.
  18. Don’t even show up at the stadium. It’s going to be ugly for them whether they’re trying or not 😀
  19. Even in his “slump”, he’s still getting 4 to 5 catches a game. As long as he doesn’t have a major injury or his production drops off a cliff entirely, he’ll be to 900 in about a season and a half.
  20. That’s one reason I love us playing the Dolphins after they just played Baltimore. The Ravens play a physical style of football, and what do you know, even more Dolphins are banged up now than heading into that game. If Ravens/Browns play in the divisional round, the winner will likely be feeling some bruises heading into the AFCCG.
  21. I would be embarrassed if the Browns got a SB before us, especially with Joe Flacco at the helm. Plus, Cleveland got an NBA championship a few years back. I want our turn.
  22. I’m glad we don’t have this dilemma with our QB. Whatever they pay Tua, it will be more than I’d ever want to fork up for the guy. And I think McDaniel will convince that powers in Miami to do it, as I think he will feel a sense of loyalty to Tua and making things work with him.
  23. Thanks for the video. The guy is a little obnoxious, but I got some good laughs out of it 😃
  24. I love that even Deep Voice got a “YEA” into this thread.
