Instead of betting “public”, sounds like “bettors” would have been a more appropriate term in my post, since it would account for the sharp/professional money. Either way, the money hasn’t found a better favorite than the Bills yet. That is an interesting analysis you’ve put together about the Week 6 favorites and there only being one SB winner out of that group in the last 15-20 years. The point there I think is that the Week 6 SB favorite means nothing 🙂.

On BetMGM, Bills are currently the Super Bowl favorites at +600. Other contenders include: Chiefs +650 Lions +750 Packers +800 Eagles +1000 Is Vegas and the betting public just ignoring the Bills’ last two games? Or are there some reasons we shouldn’t be jumping off any bridges just yet?

Totally agree. Every other year we seem to have a season where we’re like 7-6 heading into December, and then the team magically goes on a win streak to get into the playoffs. Yes the team played like crap the past two weeks. But if they beat the Panthers and then beat the 3-3 Chiefs, they’ll be sitting at 6-2 and still right near the top of the AFC. This team has a lot to solve over the bye week, but they’ve faced adversity before and gone on runs.

I mean, from that alone, sounds like McD is questioning personnel that Brady was throwing out there.

We’ll notice it by later this season if Josh keeps taking beatings like this every game. There’s been multiple hits the past few weeks where he’s lucky to not have more severe knee injuries, broken hands, concussions, etc. Seems way more than ever.

To be fair to the OP, we don’t have Hollins anymore either.

I don’t think this defense even knows what the scheme is anymore. Seems like they’re trying to play a mix of McD defense and then all these stunts and blitzes, nobody knows where they need to be.

Getting the 3rd rd pick was obviously part of Beane’s game plan, although how did his game plan work out for us last season? The Chiefs still beat us when it mattered. I am saying that we shouldn’t pursue a game plan that is going to help our nemesis.

I never said we were their only chance to trade up or that Worthy wouldn’t have been there when the Chiefs picked. Either way, given the Chiefs are the team we’ve been trying to get past in the AFC, we shouldn’t have been the ones to help them. It doesn’t make any sense to help your nemesis.

And that is exactly why we shouldn’t have made a trade with them so they could draft the fastest player ever. Worthy is the prototype player for their offense, not to mention we could actually use some at our WR position. Even if Beane didn’t want Worthy, we shouldn’t have been the team to allow the Chiefs to draft him.

Do the Chargers actually have any fans that would care about traveling to Miami anyways though?

I mean, Skattebo was a stud in college, so it’s not like his production is coming from nowhere. And it’s been in more than just last night’s game. He’s clearly showing his skillset is translating just fine to the NFL game.
