If Lamar wins, it’s because Raven fans are bigger crybabies. They went all out in their PR campaign the couple weeks while their team was still trying to win the division. The irony is because they didn’t wrap up their division until Week 18, Zay Flowers then got hurt and that may have been the difference the other night.

It’s the complementary football McD has always envisioned. Limit turnovers, control the time of possession, wear the other team down and keep them off the field. That’s why the Bills lost Super Bowl XXV, in spite of having the more prolific offense.

McD will need to work with Josh on his clapping this offseason.

Yet Coleman was on the field way more than Cooper the other day, wasn’t he? Is Cooper just not able to get separation at this point, and Coleman is the better option? Is Cooper just not committing enough during the week and hence not seeing the field? I was excited about the trade for him, but his recent usage is perplexing.

It was also in the teens with a slick field the other night too, not the kind of conditions where you would want to open up the offense too much unless you needed to. So long as the Bills were running the ball successfully and the Ravens were giving them gifts, why stop playing close to the vest?

If we wanted to keep him, why would we want to the value of his next contract to be higher? Ultimately, I don’t think it’s going to matter, because I think it’s clear he’s nothing more than depth for them at this point and he won’t be any younger next season. They’ll be better off using an early draft pick to add to the WR stable.

I actually feel a huge weight off the shoulders after beating the Ravens the other night. And also because I have a lot of confidence that we can repeat the same thing against the Chiefs this weekend. So many teams have been letting them off the hook this year, were the only ones that haven’t. And I would be surprised if in some way we let them off the hook this weekend, rather than Josh and team do everything in their power to get this team back to the Super Bowl. I would be shocked if this team isn’t ready to ball out on Sunday night, and put a stop to that stupid tomahawk chop as well.

I’m vaguely remembering that the Bills teams of the 90s getting certain players in on returns in more important games too, although my memory could be way off. It also frees up a roster spot to call others up.
