  1. He has more than a chance. If the vote were today, Josh wins it. All the Lamar talk is way quieter after yesterday. If Josh keeps winning, I don’t think he even needs many more high stat games to win MVP.
  2. Win on SNF against San Fran, and then in the huge game against Detroit, it’d be hard for him not to win it almost regardless of his numbers those games. Yes, probably need to win a few of the other games (Rams, Pats x2, Jets), but a primetime win against 49ers and then beating the Lions would be huge resume builders/clinchers. Wins, the corresponding media narrative and recency bias all play into the vote that happens right after Week 17.
  3. It’s a tradition like none other.
  4. Alright, well if he unfortunately wins the league MVP too because we earn the 1 seed, I won’t complain. If you claim you wouldn’t want the 1 seed over any other seed, you’re just trying to pick a fight at that point. Turning down a bye in the playoffs and home field advantage is just idiotic.
  5. Well if earning the 1 seed means Josh also wins MVP, I’ll take it.
  6. I’m concerned Josh going to come back a step slower after Thanksgiving…😇
  7. Kincaid and Coleman should offer some alternative weapons for us. Plus Milano, Carter and Smoot should be back to help shore up the defense more.
  8. To @Governor ‘s point, that game may ultimately decide the MVP. We beat Detroit and close well in our other games, going to be tough to deny Josh as MVP. Detroit beats us and keeps on their run, Goff’s chances go up big-time. Yes Goff is driving a Ferrari, but many were ready to crown Purdy as MVP last year until he stunk up the joint against the Ravens, and Baltimore finished with the best record.
  9. Should be a great way to cap off Thanksgiving weekend. The crowd will be wild getting Milano back that night and coming off this win.
  10. @BringBackFergy has been exposed as @Jimmy Spagnola
  11. Feel like they’d delay the start if needed, given CBS brought whole set.
  12. And having Henry helps immensely, which in theory should work against his MVP case, yet these talking heads always seem to ignore facts like that.
  13. Pit for sure here. I can’t stand the Ravens, Lamar, etc. Would love to see Pit push for winning that division.
  14. Looking forward to Bengals/Chargers too. Should know better after today how the various AFC playoff contenders are stacking up against each other.
  15. I was 8 years old, and this was the first game my dad ever brought me to. The reason I bump this thread tonight is I remember heading into this game, there was a lot of hype about the undefeated (yes, only 4-0) LA Raiders. The Bills proceeded by working their magic in the 2nd half of this game, and not looking back on their way to their first Super Bowl. We all know how the Bills subsequently spanked the Raiders 51-3 in the AFC Championship Game. Are Josh and McD ready to make a statement tomorrow that it’s our time now? Note that I just started drinking a smooth rum and coke.
  16. So you’re predicting Cooper and Brown don’t play?
  17. I don’t know that they could unveil everything if that wanted to. Coleman and Kincaid are both out already, and who knows how healthy Cooper will really be too. They could pull out things with the personnel they’re going to have for Sunday, yet still have some tricks in the bag for a playoff matchup too.
  18. I’d say Coleman is pretty untouchable. Guy has already shown signs of clicking with Allen and we have him for three more years on a rookie contract. Cheap WR talent is valuable.
  19. Hopefully the noise of our crowd can get him to jump even earlier.
  20. So you’d rather we don’t have the 1 seed? That’s what I was commenting on. I don’t care who we have to play, but would prefer we don’t have to worry about a WC round game and have guaranteed home field throughout the playoffs.
