Sickening update from SB Nation

Solid job keeping these guys honest 😆 -
In all seriousness, I think it was on the Facility just yesterday, the debate was really if the Bills just beat the Pats, that will keep Josh on top. Most said Josh doesn’t even need to have spectacular numbers, including Acho who is a voter. These shows just need something to talk about that will attract viewers.

I would be shocked if this Pats team scores over 30 on us, let alone 20. We just played two of the best offenses we’ll play all season in pristine conditions. Now we play a rookie QB in Orchard Park who is on an offense devoid of weapons and any sort of protection. Drake Maye is the one most likely to have a bad Sunday.

Denver Broncos @ Los Angeles Chargers

I’m happy with Chargers winning. Helps our chances of getting the 1 seed, as chances Broncos will need to beat the Chiefs in Week 18 goes up. I don’t really care if it potentially helps a team like the Bengals get in, worth the chance of us getting the 1 seed. If we’re worried about certain teams making the playoffs, are we really a SB contender then? -

At what point geographically would you say the team would be considered Rochester instead of Buffalo? If stadium were ever any point east of Batavia? Or Monroe v Genesee county the defining line? Need to factor in who you think the NFL wants to win when making bets -

Been waiting forever to see one of those in a real game. -

It does clinch a playoff spot for Denver. Chargers lose, the broadcast said they still have like a 76% to make the playoffs. -

I get that Herbert is talented, but he always has like this emotionless look to himself. -

I’m cheering for the Chargers. Thought being we need the Chiefs to lose two of their last three, to get the 1 seed. If Denver has something to play for in Week 18, they’ll be going all out against the Chiefs that week. If not, well then they might just pack it in against the Chiefs and takes away a chance for a Chiefs loss. -
This explains all of the recent drone sightings. They’ve come to take Josh back.

Small plane crash in Dion Dawkins yard.

Oh no, this doesn’t sound good… -
This guy is also the loud mouth in the locker room in my gym down here in the Pittsburgh area, so I think he’s actually just jealous of our QB.

Someone was telling me the other day they think Allen likes to gain rushing yards and score at the expense of his teammates too. I think it’s a ridiculous take. First, outside of the red zone, Josh generally only runs to help get the 1st down we really need it. In the red zone, if the easiest path to score is for Josh to run it in, what’s wrong with that? For anyone that has a problem with it, how about stop him then? When we’re in tight games and every first down and score matter, I don’t care if Josh is doing the scoring or someone else. And I’m pretty sure Josh doesn’t care either. Not to mention, he’s not calling the plays either.

Running left and hitting Cook in stride running right was the most impressive here. The Keon pass was amazing too.

Josh Allen AFC Offensive POW Again (Week 15)!
strive_for_five_guy replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
This will give Josh his 15th POW so far in his career, tied for 26th with the likes of Steve Young, Marshall Faulk, etc. Link below is not updated for that yet. All QBs ahead of Josh are either in the HOF or not eligible yet, except for Boomer Esiason. Good company to be in. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/leaders/potw_career.htm -
I think they’re doing just for conversation sake. Acho and Orlovsky both actually have votes, so always interested in hearing their takes.

Anyone that thinks this is real is an idiot 😆 -
I mean, Barkley is on pace for 2,050 yards, and the record is 2,105. And he plays against three horrible run defenses these last three weeks. So could definitely seem him still doing it. That said, even if he breaks the record at this point, I don’t think that’s as impressive as what Josh is doing. Would be pretty annoyed with any voters that think just bc Barkley breaks the rushing record against crappy run defenses and in 17 games, that makes him the MVP. Even Dickerson wasn’t MVP in the year he set the rushing record. Edit: Sorry bro, just re-read what you’re saying though. Totally get your point about defining the rushing record on that per game basis, in which case OJ’s numbers are arguably the REAL record. That’s a great point.

If Tre were still on the team, I’d be curious what he would say about the vibes now versus before. I really think with Josh now as one of the unquestioned leaders (no Diggs interference), there is a much more positive vibe altogether. Being positive and resilient is just Josh’s natural style, which does differ from probably McD’s own tendencies in moments of adversity, but it all seems to be really working at the moment. Resiliency is one of the key factors for how the 90s Bills were able to make four Super Bowls in row, and probably why a lot of us Bills fans are so passionate about this franchise and that hope to one day bring home a Lombardi. Even McD is doing snow angels these days and effusively praising Josh’s play, so maybe even he realizes how much Josh’s leadership style is working.
