    Spot on. Josh looked like a man possessed on the last two drives in regulation and on the sideline. His paycheck was the last thing on his mind at that point.

    I was ready to stand corrected, but have also been made aware that a team can intentionally hold once per game? Either way, that whole sequence of 13 seconds will eat at me for awhile.

    I generally try to defend McDermott and like the culture he’s instilled, but why can some of us fans think of things like this from our couches and the coaches don’t? That’s what stings me most after this one.

    The home teams today are both still the favorites. But, unless there’s a fix or bias from the NFL to favor the home teams today, the outcome of yesterday’s games are independent of today’s.

    Understood, it’s his wording as a “Week 17” game that sounds funny here. I took it as meaning the game would be played in Week 17.

    Agree, I don’t see how the Bills don’t put up 30 (at least 4 TDs and a FG). Also, would be shocked if Chiefs are held under 24 this time around, and think they’re going to need at least 34 to beat the Bills. Bills 34, Chiefs 27 is my prediction.

    If we have a QB that can throw the ball better than the other team’s QB, it’s too our advantage to not have that limited. In other words, if the wind reaches a point where even Josh’s passes are impacted, that diminishes our advantage. In an extreme example, if neither team can throw because of the weather, that helps the other team.

    Love hearing that Tua would rather play golf in his time off versus improve his craft. Yes, he can do what he wants in his time off. But if he’s a middling QB and doesn’t put the extra time in to get any better, that’s great for the Bills.

    I don’t think he’d do any better, but I don’t think Daboll would advocate for a QB with Wentz’s skill set either. I’m also comparing head coaches, not HC to OC. Do you think Reich would be more effective with our defensive personnel than McDermott has been?
