I normally don’t argue that wind helps us, but against the Dolphins, I think it actually hurts their offense more than ours. If both teams are forced to run the ball more, I think the evidence is starting to show that Beane/McDermott have revamped this team to better handle the elements this year versus last. Our run defense is vastly improved, and on offense, I’ll take the added threat of Josh running over Tua any day of the week. In addition, our key players are just more experienced playing in this type of weather, at this point. AND, the 12th man will be rocking on Saturday night!

Even though Von is out for the year at this point, his two biggest contributions are going to be helping us win the KC game early in the year, AND the developmental leadership he offered to guys like Rousseau. If that can help us to earn the #1 seed and bigger things in the playoffs, I’ll take it.

He’s my pick for a solid day with at least a TD sprinkled in 👍

The window dressing theory has crossed my mind too. Similar to this writer’s theory with the Giants, Beane may have just hosted OBJ as a courtesy to the likes of Von, without a super strong intent to sign unless being blown away.

Rain especially is proven to impact the passing game. Even light rain lowers completion percentage. Hopefully our D can capitalize more than the Jets…

It’s good to see TO still doesn’t lack in self-confidence 😂. In a strange way, I’m intrigued by the thought of Josh ever throwing to TO, but that’s dreaming of TO in his prime versus what it would look like in reality. Maybe still prettier than Kelvin Benjamin though?

I don’t disagree that if Diggs gets hurt, our WR room takes a huge hit. I guess I had always looked at Stevenson as a flier, and when Shakir was drafted, we had already found an “upgrade” (not saying much). So I’d already accepted that he was a 6th round miss. I’m still hopeful that Shakir can eventually develop a role in the offense, but he’s definitely not where I figured he’d be by this point in the season. Whether Shakir and Davis show further signs of development or not, I do think the Bills need to find another WR weapon in next year’s draft.

Did you just realize that Stevenson isn’t good enough to crack the WR group on this team?

Maybe we’re saying the same thing then. I don’t see how Thomas ends up on our team and/or is able to help the Bills this season…
