  1. If this D can slow down Aaron Rodgers and his offense, I think they have it in them to slow down any QB in the league. And I do think Luck is on his way to being one of the best in the league.
  2. As if being on a yacht weren't awesome enough, imagine their jubilation after getting that call. That's when you know you're living the life.
  3. Clearly the result would be that CJ will be MVP for the Saints, since his name is the opposite of Jesus' initials (JC) and well, JC probably has a thing for the Saints.
  4. It's interesting to consider who and why certain pieces of info are posted. Maybe the intern was told to post it as a motivating tactic for Glenn, or maybe the intern is in trouble now, who knows?
  5. I agree with the first part of your statement, although I'd prefer the Bills be the catalyst for Brady retiring. Perfect scenario would be either brady pouting at the Ralph after getting pummeled all day, or getting carried away on a stretcher. If it happens this year, great!
  6. You aren't going to give an opinion on every move the Bills have made? I've read several very impressive expert analyses already.
  7. I agree, unfortunately more playoff teams means more playoff games which means more money. That's what it's all about.
  8. With regard to there being an "adjustment period" for a new coach, the defensive system could be similar to the one instilled by Pettine two years ago, so defense hopefully will not drop off too much from this year (if at all). On the offensive side, we sucked anyway so there's nowhere to go but up.
  9. Also, the house had to build in margin for themselves. Even if every team were equal, the odds offered on each would be something higher like 40-1. The theory being bets would be evenly placed across all teams and the house makes money no matter who wins.
  10. First off, great play by the Bills, this puts Miami in a tough situation. With that said, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict Miami matches the offer. For one, people tend to think in the short term and worry about longer term consequences down the road. If Miami lets Clay walk to Buffalo, the Bills have substantially more offensive weapons in 2015 than Miami. In addition, everyone keeps saying don't worry about cap room for the Bills in 2016 bc the salary cap is expected to get a hike. Well, even though Miami has money tied up in some key players already, that same expected hike would also help Miami deal w the large dollars allocated for Clay. Anyway, hope I'm wrong, the waiting game is on! You beat me to it!
  11. The worst part is going to be when Clay signs the Bills offer sheet, then we have to sweat it out to see if Miami will match. If they plan to, they will prob wait until the day just to delay the Bills from signing other TEs.
  12. I'm confused as to why there is even a discussion on this subject. I've never heard of an NFL WR moving to CB at this stage of their career. Even if somehow Hogan is CB in hiding, is the hope that someone at OBD is reading and going to approach Hogan and say "hey, we just signed you to a new contract as a wide receiver. Even though our defense was elite last year, we were curious how you might line up as a CB and contribute on that defense." Doesn't this sound like we're throwing out highly unlikely scenarios here?
  13. Well who would you suggest they sign? They made Bulaga an offer and he took less to resign w the Packers. Not sure what happened w Iutapi but he signed for a lot of money w Arizona. Who do you want the Bills to get?
  14. Well if your going to count Fitz you should count Marshall too.
  15. Brandon Marshall doesn't count for anything?
  16. Why do they need to give Clay a long term deal if the Bills never gave an offer?
  17. Except that Kiko's contract is up in two years and if he truly becomes an all pro LB then he won't be for free then.
