  1. I’d say it depends how much you think the betting public’s opinion lines up with the voters’ opinions. If one guy puts a ton money on a player (say $1M) to win an award, the house may lower that person’s odds to lessen their liability on that end, and will want to attract money on the other players. The sports books are there to make money, so they want as much diversified action as they can get so that they’re guaranteed to win via the juice embedded in the odds they’re offering. There should be some relevancy between the odds and who wins each award, but there’s no guarantee.
  2. Here is her record: Born 1/23/21, Bills lose Chiefs next day 1st Birthday 1/23/22, Bills lose to Chiefs on same day 2nd Birthday 1/23/23, Bills lost to Bengals day prior 3rd Birthday 1/23/24, Bills lost to Chiefs two days prior 4th Birthday 1/23/25, ??? There seems to be a pattern so far. Luckily, there shouldn’t be a game three days prior to her birthday this year.
  3. Yea, I would think wind knocked out of him too. There was ice in the driveway one time and I totally didn’t expect it. Legs went up in to the air and I landed very solidly on my back, definitely took a few moments to catch the breath and was extremely sore the next day.
  4. Bills 24 Broncos 20 Broncos get a late TD to make it a one score game, we run out the clock for a tight victory.
  5. My daughter was born the day before the AFCCG. I don’t know that getting rid of the mug is the right answer, just sayin’.
  6. What level of family emergency is acceptable for him to be excused from a Week 18 game, or for God’s sake, a playoff game?
  7. I’m predicting very wet.
  8. Still the Lions. Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra are both very tough to defend, and Campbell’s aggressive approach adds to it. Plus, if their defense can keep getting healthier, they’ll be a tougher out a second time around.
  9. I’m going to predict it’s going to be hot next summer, potentially record setting at some point. You heard it here first!
  10. WGR made the best comp I’ve heard, which is us hosting the Pats a few years back, although Nix worries me a lot more than Mac Jones ever did. Otherwise, can’t think of many other playoff matchups where we’ve hosted a young QB while our QB was in his prime. That said, this will be as tough a matchup as Nix has had his whole career so far, we’ll see how good he can look in our house against the best QB in the league.
  11. If character meant you had Olympic speed, Nate Peterman would have been the fastest man on the planet.
  12. And BetMGM and BetRivers odds aren’t updated. If you’re able to go to their actual site, they haven’t have Season Awards up since before the games yesterday. If they get odds up again at some point, I assume they’ll be closer to the other books’ odds. Seems the money is tracking towards Josh in the past couple of days.
  13. So are you saying you’d move Grable to guard to take Torrence’s role as starter? Or something else?
  14. Josh at -500 on DK now too, with Lamar at +350. If anything, the odds have shifted Josh’s way in the past couple of days.
  15. Dan’s argument only makes too much sense. I swear Ravens fans just have nothing better to do with their time, yet what has their two-time MVP ever done for them in the playoffs?
  16. I’d wait for the party for multiple reasons. If you go to the game or even just Nola and they lose, you’ll have spent a ton of money and be sick to your stomach. If they win, you’ll have just as much fun or more spending the days after in Buffalo, and spend way less money.
  17. That’s what the Ravens get for not officially wrapping up their division sooner. We’re at least in the best physical shape heading into the playoffs as I ever remember.
  18. And if the Bills make the SB, prices to the game probably would only go up. This team would be a huge draw.
  19. I will never bet on Josh to win MVP again. The back and forth and politics is agony. Ravens fans are completely obnoxious and make me puke. If voters don’t realize the value that Josh brings to this team this season, I don’t know when they ever will. Regardless of who wins MVP, just want this team to obliterate anyone that gets in their way in the next four games.
  20. Agreed. At least we’ll be the home team if we both win, so won’t have to worry about travel and will have the home field advantage.
  21. Mayo game days be delicious
  22. This is last year’s list of voters.
  23. Cook has already broken 1,000 now, so got that going for us too.
