  1. I’d be a little surprised if Hill doesn’t play this weekend, all things considered, but if there were a game for the Dolphins to let him heal, this would be it. Agree that to win the division or take the #1 seed, they need to beat both the Ravens and us. If they lose to the Jets, the Ravens still have to beat the Jags and 49ers too, so the Dolphins would have a chance to still catch them.
  2. We can win our next three games, and they can lose their next three games. As long as they beat us, they will win the division. If playing Hill this week jeopardizes his chance of playing against us or in the playoffs, they might be smarter to let him heal up.
  3. If IR’d, my understanding is he’d have to miss four games, but then could return, even if that’s not until playoffs. If put on IR and Bills don’t make playoffs, then very well could be it for him on the field with the Bills.
  4. Agree, want at least that. Would really like if we’ve at least clinched a playoff berth, but those chances are probably very low if impossible.
  5. Dolphins could literally take the next three games off, and still win the division by just beating us. Crazy every time I consider that. We just gotta keep winning at this point.
  6. In order to synch up with the TBD laugh emoji, I actually had my dentist remove all of my teeth and shaved my head.
  7. Chiefs are currently 3-1 in their division, Broncos 2-2. If they end up tied, it’s very unlikely the Chiefs will have lost to both Raiders and Chargers.
  8. Please put the Dolphins’ 70 to shame tonight.
  9. Yep, half of our chance is the divisional element. If we win this week, I expect our odds to take a very nice jump.
  10. I’ll be surprised if he’s not fired by tomorrow morning.
  11. So ESPN has the Raiders at 99.2% chance of winning. Meanwhile, Dolphins were at 99.7% against the Titans the other night, and still lost. To put Miami’s loss into further perspective.
  12. If I’m following your spreadsheet, starting sample is top 50 punters by total yards? So he’d be “7th” for inside 20 percentage, compared against that cohort?
  13. Let me break down my question for you - What is your source for that being top 10 all time? Link?
  14. OP - You mentioned being sick as well. Do you have a relation to the Cowboys somehow?
  15. Where are you getting that? He’s 18th in the league around that percentage, this season alone. So are the other 17 punters ahead of him punting at a top 10 all time level this year too?
  16. Yep, of the non-Bills games, that’s the most important for us, in my opinion.
  17. Aside from Bills winning, if at least four of those other things happen, we should be pleased.
  18. Hate when weather is a factor, although I suspect it will help us more given we’re more accustomed and I think we have a better running attack than Dallas.
  19. Sorry, I was looking ahead to next season on this question. I think you gotta play things out with the guys you have at this point, including Rapp. Next year is where their secondary needs an overhaul, in my opinion.
  20. Rapp’s on a one year deal. His play and wreckless abandonment scare me more than anything. I’d rather find someone else in FA or the draft before bring him back.
  21. Found this out there. Does not help Martin’s case for punting performance this season.
  22. Man, didn’t know we have him on a deal for two more years. When you look at his age and performance, seems like this is only going to become a bigger problem. Agree with other posters that we need to bring in other competition next summer.
  23. They might need/want to move either Douglas or Benford to safety, given potential departures of Hyde and Poyer. If Elam can step up to be a starting level CB too, that would certainly help if the DB situation.
  24. I agree we need to establish the run against the Cowboys. Also thinking us running some up-tempo offense would help to limit their ability to give exotic looks. And then other side of the ball, the key will be how much pressure our D-Line can get on Dak. In my opinion, this game’s going to be decided by who wins in the trenches and turns the ball over the least (I know, sounding very cliche).
  25. Def. Sick to think Dolphins could lose three more games in a row, but can still win division by just beating us.
