    Thank you. As has been pointed out, anyone that thinks missing out at 11-6 is even “somewhat probable” should put some money on a huge parlay, as it will pay nicely for them.

    That’s not what I’m saying though. I’m saying Miami wins their next two and hence the division, and we win out. In that scenario, it’s almost certain we still get in as a wild card.

    If I have it right, this weekend alone would be an 8-teamer, and you’d bring back $941 on MGM. Roll that into the following weeks and several other games/outcomes, going to add up quickly for you.

    Here’s an idea: If someone is concerned all 17 games are going to go against the Bills, put down a small sum of money on a parlay (or weekly parlay) on those exact outcomes. And if the Bills win out and don’t make the playoffs, you will at least be rich in the end.

    Actually, in this scenario, we’d either host the Chiefs in Divisional Round, or winner of Jags/Browns. If Dolphins beat Chiefs, they’d go to Baltimore.

    If Miami wins their next two games, our only hope will be as a wild card. And while Miami winning their next two is not probable, it’s even less probable that 10+ other games go a certain way. My point is, even if we win all of our games, Wild Card just as easily could be our path in still, versus winning the division.

    Assuming we win out and looking back through scenarios, it does look like Browns LOSING to the Texans is an outcome that would help us control our own destiny. The scenario where 11-6 does not get us in requires the Browns to win against the Texans.

    Browns may also have nothing to play for by Week 18, hence important that the Bengals lose either against Pit or KC.

    If the Steelers can just beat the Bengals this Saturday, we can go into our game controlling our own destiny.

    Game is in Pitt, so Cincy has to go into their house. Not going to be an easy environment for Browning to operate, even as bad as the Steelers have been. This is essentially Tomlin’s last gasp, we’ll see if he can rally the troops.
