  1. Agreed. I actually love what they did in drafting guys like Cook and Shakir. Think it’s a clear sign they’re trying to add speed and versatility to the offensive skill positions.
  2. I’m told that we should have held onto Beasley, Sanders and Hughes so that we could be even older.
  3. First player that came to mind when watching the film is Julian Edelman (as much as I couldn’t stand that guy).
  4. I’ve always said being an NFL punter for a strong offensive team would be one of the best gigs out there.
  5. Beane should be expected to land All-Pros with every single draft pick.
  6. Agree. If Tre isn’t going to be ready for Week 1, it’s not like Tannehill, Tua and Lamar are dominant passers in Weeks 2-4. At least for Ten and Bal, we’ll be more concerned about stopping the run those weeks.
  7. Nope, Beane should be fired for the job he’s done! 😂😂
  8. Anyone else been cut today besides OJ Howard and Duke Johnson? I don’t have the time to scroll through 29 pages.
  9. Wtf is wrong with this guy. He complains that no one has been taking him seriously, meanwhile he’s throwing insults left and right. Does he really care about the victim he is supposedly representing, or more worried about the attention for himself?
  10. Plus, then you have the Holding Specialist as recommended by @BringBackFergy. Besides the emergency QB option and the holding specialist, adds another threat of fakes to the field goal and punting formations.
  11. If I were the victim or victim’s attorney, I’d be frustrated with the seeming indifference that various stakeholders (potential perpetrators, witnesses, police, the Bills) have shown. His approach may seem unorthodox, but maybe this will force the facts of the situation to actually be established and those responsible for whatever happened to be held accountable.
  12. Right, we don’t know the whole story, so for anyone on the sideline to claim that the Bills are beholden to Araiza as part of their “family” is ridiculous.
  13. If Araiza lied to the Bills about aspects of situation, is he really a part of the “family”?
  14. I don’t think the Bills legal department knew the half of the charges coming. The kid may just have extremely poor judgment altogether, hence the situation he has found himself in.
  15. And how do you have this guy interact with the team in any way while this whole situation is being sorted through? It’s best for Matt and the team for him to deal with this on his own. Matt seems confident that he’ll be able to exonerate himself. Time and the facts will tell. Amazing the highs and lows a punter has caused in only a few months.
  16. Maybe he’s a more likely cut come Tuesday, so they figured let’s throw him back there in a game that ultimately doesn’t matter…
  17. Apparently the league currently can’t punish Araiza here, because the incident happened before the NFL draft. Obviously doesn’t clear him of being a POS if guilty, but I thought that was an interesting tidbit.
  18. I’m very curious how the story of others at the party contradicts at least parts of the lawsuit….
  19. His messages also make it clear why they waited until Haack was cut to file the lawsuit…
  20. Well that was one heckuva an NFL punt Araiza had! Innocent until proven guilty, but obviously horrible if true…
