  1. If you took a poll about how the general public would feel if the Buffalo Bills won the Super Bowl, I bet >90% would be happy for Bills fans. We’re a humble town with humble coaches and players, a QB with as much heart as anyone in the league. It’s our time.
  2. It’s a good move for them in my book. Tackle is one of their biggest weaknesses, Humphries couldn’t be much worse than what they have.
  3. Well, we’ll see if Purdy really was any good or a schmo can come right in and be just fine. SF not sitting well at 5-5 anyway though, in my opinion proof of what CMC meant their success last year v Purdy. I always thought that Purdy in the MVP discussion was ridiculous.
  4. I agree we throw money at Benford before Douglas. Money at Shakir before Cooper too. And Bernard going to need an extension at some point too.
  5. So he’ll clear waivers and then some team with a bad QB situation will take a flier on him, right?
  6. If you see them, squash them.
  7. Interesting, we’re essentially a coin flip with the Chiefs at this point to earn the 1 seed. And given 17% chance to win SB while they’re at 10%. In other words, even if we don’t get the bye, however this formula is working figures we still have a decent shot of winning it all. If we do earn the 1 seed, those odds will go up a good amount.
  8. Oh, well that sounds simple. Let’s get rid of the Chinese lantern flies while we’re at it.
  9. I’d imagine if one looked at the stats over the past 5 years, zone coverage in general is increasing. For instance, back in 2020, we faced man 35% of the time, which was 5th in the league. That’s more than we’re even facing man today. That said, I’m thinking our running game is perceived as stronger than our WR group, so defenses are more frequently willing to go man to try and stop our run game? For those that know better than I, would 12 personnel or a 6th OL-man encourage defenses to go man against us more frequently too?
  10. Do the burglars look like these guys?
  11. Haha yes. This vote was after Week 3, so it’s very outdated now.
  12. I know Burrow’s stat line is pretty decent, but I say no way he wins MVP. Most losses ever by an MVP was 7, when Barry Sanders ran for 2,000 yards in 1997. Only one player won MVP with 6 losses, when Adrian Peterson ran for 2,000 yards in 2012. Another loss or two for the Ravens, I’d say even Lamar gets himself out of the running and it’s down to Josh and potentially Goff. https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-player-with-most-losses-in-a-mvp-season
  13. This thread ready to be moved to the politics section yet, before it’s longer than the Davante Adams thread?
