  1. Absolutely right! I would love it if the Bills were good enough to capture this market here so I wouldn't have to listen to all these 315ers talk trash about my team all week long...
  2. I agree 100%... The offense was already calling out the D this year when one of the Olinemen got into Maybin's ear durring training camp about "earning his pay"... After listening to Torbor it really calmed my nerves about this team especially coming from someone who's been through the ups and downs as opposed to someone who's just been straight up down... It all goes back to what I said about how important it is to have someone who knows what they're doing on the field to help lead the team off the field...
  3. QB is a maaaaaajor problem... have you been watching? Granted, the defense seems to big the "biggest" problem right now with the wrong personell and coaching philosophy but keep an eye on the big picture K?
  4. Shouldn't a defensive leader be someone who leads by example not only off the field but on the field as well? Guys like Ray L, Troy P, and Bart S... We get Chris K. Should our coaching staff be empowering guys like that to lead our team?
  5. Well where's the growth? Where's the improvement? Where's the guys like J.Peppers that love the 3/4? 7-9 doesn't sound so bad anymore...
  6. Perry Fewell had a superior defense to the scheme we're currently running. I know they were motivated to make the switch because we face a lot of that same D and it would help prepare our offense for game day. Here's the problem, we don't have the personel the replicate what these other teams are doing to us so what's the point. We've been running with 4 down lineman most of the year anyways so whats the point? To make the gameplan more confusing for our front 7? Should have kept him on as DC cuz Mr. Edwards is just not the answer. PS. Did anyone see what Perry's defense did to Jay Cutler and "one of the hottest teams in the NFC"?
  7. Believe it or not, about half way through every game this season I've found myself looking forward to the awkward press conferences after each game. I visit the Bills site about every ten minutes waiting for the show. I like to see them scurry for excuses and reasons why they can't put even a marginal product on the field. What would we all have to talk about? The weather? We are notorious for complaing about that. Losing is a tradition and its not going to change until we get those who have become accustomed to it out of Buffalo. My only wish is that the FO and the CS wouldn't have waited to find out for themselves that we stink before they started the overhaul. Hindsite is 20/20 but there was enough visible proof that a lot of these guys just don't have what it takes to get the job done including most that still remain on the roster.
  8. Answer me one question Buddy... You're "core guy" Kelsay, is playin a position that he obviously can't play and he has done nothing to help this team win so how do you justify saying that you want your players to be like him? Give me a bad boy that produces on the field any given sunday... Besides, how do you expect new talent to come to this team and follow his lead when they've never even heard of him before? Notice how there were no big headlines other then within the Bills network when he signed his extension... Give us some playmakers with marginal character and I promise the Bills fans will forgive you... PS. Can we get someone in the press conferences and QnA's that will ask the tough questions that all of us want the answers to?
  9. Don't get me started on Whitner. He's got an awfully big mouth for someone as overrated as he is. Did you see him get embarrassed by LT on Sunday? Just another bad decisions by a bad front office that so far, is showing no sign of improvement. Here's my list of players we need to get rid of. Kelsay, Whitner, Evans, Stupar, 70% of the OLine, Roscoe (because we don't have a coach that can truly utilize him), Steve Johnson, 100% of the DLine (including backups because obviously we don't have any playmakers there) and Fitz... Right this down, we win 2 games this year take a QB with the #1 pick that will turn into a failure because no matter what this franchise does, its always the wrong move. They've forgotten what it takes to win and in all reality, will never find it again until they relocate. Losing is in the bloodlines of this team and until they can change the culture it's only gonna get worse. Even our best players don't know what it takes to win because they've never done it so where to we go from here?
  10. This whole topic is absolutely rediculous. Meyers coaching system will never get a quarterback ready for NFL football. Have you seen this kid throw the rock? Any of you that agree with this are absolutely insane. I hope none of you are interviewing for ANY jobs in the Bills organization. As for you Mr. Kelly, I grew up watching you lead my team. My grandpa and I followed you guys to Fredonia every summer for 5 years. I will disown you and tear up our picture together like a woman scorned if there is any mention of this again. In the famous words of Don Ready "NEVER AGAIN!!!"
  11. Again, make sure you do a little research and see how far that whole Lville program got set back his senior year. No its cool, I understand...
  12. Do you think anyone would know Jeff Saturday's name if it wasn't for PM? An undersized underpowered Olineman who is now and has been the smartest center in the league other then Mawai. You might think all that time spent with genius of PM and knowing what he sees and expects from a defense could possibly have something to do with it. Cmon guys ur better then this.
  13. Actually if you knew anything about football and probably sports at that. You would have known about the buzz that surrounded this kid as a Junior in college. Before you jump on someone's post, make sure you do a little research first because its apparent that you shouldn't rely on your knowledge alone. YIKES!!!
  14. I wouldn't get your hopes up there. Lets face reality. PF IS a breath of fresh air but this guy doesn't have enough experience heading up and entire football team let alone turning around an offense that has been in shambles for, well, we all know how long. I strongly believe that there is no one on this offense that knows HOW to be successful other then TO. Its tough to win when you don't really know how. And it sure as heck ain't gonna change with Van Smelt calling all the shots on offense. Now we have absolutely no direction for the rest of the year and all of you who are hoping for better are falling into the trap that we allways do. Sit back and enjoy the circus that is OBD for the rest of the year and hope for the best in the offseason. I'm not sure there is anything that can turn this franchise around. It will take at least three years to get a new system in place and be successful. So all of you looking for instant gratification don't hold your breath. We can completely overhaul this team, new GM, HC, QB, OL and whatever else you're looking for but without steady growth we'd just be a fly by night team with no real silver lining and we could end up here saying the same things for the next 3 years. Things won't really change until the "BIG" change happens. You know what I'm talking about.
